Adams is the Founder and Pastor of the Abounding Life Church of God In Christ located at 14626 Mozart Avenue, Posen, Illinois 60469-1208. Posen, Illinois is a suburb located about 20 miles south of Chicago, Illinois. Pastor Adams has been preaching over 45 years and pastoring for over 30 years. He believes and is always conscious of the fact that God has called him to be a preacher even from birth.

Pastor Adams is gifted and anointed of God in the area of music. He has written and/or rearranged over 200 songs. Pastor Adams and choir have been very active in the “foreign fields” for the last eleven years. In July of 1999, he traveled to London England with more than 100 choir members, musicians and supporters. The Lord tremendously worked while they were there. In October of 2000, Pastor Adams, along with approximately 100 choir members, musicians and supporters toured three cities in Japan. Pastor Adams preached three (3) times and four (4) concerts were performed. The Lord saved, healed and blessed many, and the people of these cities are yet expressing the residual effect of this tour.

In June of 2005, the Japanese government and the convention bureau invited Pastor Adams, along with the choir and musicians, to Hiroshima, Japan, during the summer of 2005. Pastor Adams was invited to tour and give concerts in this city. He, along with his choir and musicians, were invited back to Osaka, Japan (where they toured in October 2000).

Pastor Adams and the Abounding Life Church of God In Christ were blessed to “break ground” for a 2,100+ seat sanctuary and multi-facility church building in December 2004. Construction began in September of 2005. The edifice was completed and the grand opening took place in November 2007.
