Kaas is currently on a world tour since the end of 2008 to promote her latest album kabaret. She represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia and finished 8th with the song et s'il fallait le faire. Как тонко и умно сделана эта песня! Тут и солдатская Лили Марлен, стоящая под фонарём, песенка, популярная как среди гитлеровцев, так и среди наших ситуативных союзников, тут и отсылка к знаковой для немцев и французов песне о розах Гёттингена. Да и вообще, столько чувства и истории за 5 минут! Сейчас ума и интеллигентности среди массовой культуры исчезающе мало, к сожалению. Тем ценнее воспоминание о них.
