Me faire petit et me blottir
The lyrics of Patrick Fiori's song "Je crois me souvenir de toi" describe the singer's nostalgic memories of someone he once loved deeply. The song opens with the singer describing himself as a dreamer who is lost in the memories of his past with the person he is singing about. He feels like a prisoner of his own love and is unable to move on from it. Despite this, he sees himself growing stronger every day as he shields himself from the outside world, portraying himself as a fortress with an impenetrable layer of protection.
As the song progresses, the singer reminisces about their time together, remembering the sound of the person's beating heart that used to whisper "je t'aime" (I love you) at least a thousand times an hour. Despite the painful memories, the singer is proud of the person he has become as a result of their past and feels confident that he can make them proud of him as well.
Overall, the lyrics of Patrick Fiori's "Je crois me souvenir de toi" are a touching tribute to the power of love and the lasting impact that a person can have on our lives even after they're gone.
