Nuo was born and raised in Lucerne, Switzerland. At the age of fourteen he abandoned all hope becoming a popular tennis pro and decided to focus on a musical career instead. After a few misleadings steps at home, he managed to move to Hamburg, Germany where he was engaged as a background singer for several record productions. In the meantime he also worked as a professional model.
In 2002 Patrick met producer and songwriter David Jost, who helped Nuo signing a contract with Warner Music. In the following months the duo created a whole album together, which was eventually released under the name Welcome in September 2003. With "5 Days" and "Reanimate" the album spawned two top 30 hits in Switzerland and Germany. Due to its continuous success the album was re-released in April 2004, including Patrick's fourth single "Undone".
Around the same Patrick also anticipated in the music charity project Zeichen der Zeit, with which he released the top 10 single "Du Bist Nicht Allein" and "Ein Weiterer Morgen". Afterwards Jost and Nuo once again teamed up for the production on his second album Superglue, which was released in April 2005, spawning two singles: "Girl In The Moon" and "Beautiful". In July 2005 Nuo married to actress Molly Schade. He and Molly have a daughter Elouise, born June 7, 2006.
In June 2007, Patrick Nuo released his third alum, "Nuo" with the single "Too Late (To Save It With A Love Song)". "Too Late" was his poorest charting single in Germany, reaching only #83. The album's first single, "Watchin' Over You", released in late 2006 also made a poor showing peaking at #54.

On the second of July
Met her on the third floor
Four times in one night
It was a little bit of magic
And the time stood still
She took me to another side
She got the key to my will
Tell me how could such a good thing only last?
One, two, three, four
Five days, once in a lifetime
Five nights, too good to be true
The universe is passin' by
But I can't forget our
One, two, three, four
Five days, sunshine, one way trip
Where she touched my soul when I touched her lips
She said, "boy, take me to wherever you go"
Destination anywhere
But destiny said no
Tell me how could such a good thing only last?
One, two, three, four
Five days, once in a lifetime
Five nights, too good to be true
The universe is passin' by
But I can't forget our
One, two, three, four
Five days, once in a lifetime
Five nights, too good to be true
The universe is passin' by
But I can't forget our
One, two, three, four
Five days, can't you hear me?
Five nights, where you are?
Five days, can't you feel me?
Five days, you're still my love
It was so great when we were together, baby
So great when we were together
It was so great when our days were endless, baby
So great when we were together
Tell me how could our forever only last?
One, two three, four
Five days, once in a lifetime
Five nights, too good to be true
The universe is passin' by
But I can't forget our
One, two, three, four
Five days, once in a lifetime
Five nights, too good to be true
The universe is passin' by
But I can't forget our
One, two, three, four
Five days, can't you hear me?
Five nights, where you are?
Five days, can't you feel me?
Five days, you're still my love
It was so great when we were together, baby
So great when we were together
It was so great when our days were endless, baby
So great when we were together
Patrick Nuo's song "5 Days" is a heart-wrenching ballad about a passionate love story that only lasted for a brief yet intense period of time. The lyrics recount how the singer met a woman on the second of July on the third floor of a building, and how they spent four magical times together in one night. The singer describes the connection he felt with this woman, how she took him to another side, and how time seemed to stand still. However, their love was short-lived, and they only had five days together before they had to part.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Five days, once in a lifetime, five nights, too good to be true," emphasizing the brevity and intensity of their love affair. The singer expresses his longing for the woman, unable to forget the moments they shared, and wondering how such a good thing could only last for such a short time. The lyrics recall long summer days, where they shared a one-way trip and she touched his soul when they kissed. The woman asked to go with him to wherever he went, but destiny had other plans.
As the song progresses, the singer reminisces about the good times they shared and how great it was when they were together. He wonders why their forever only lasted for five days, and how he can't forget their short-lived romance. The song ends on a poignant note, with the singer unable to forget the woman he loved and hoping that she hears him and feels his love even though they are apart.
Overall, Patrick Nuo's "5 Days" is a heartbreakingly beautiful song that showcases his powerful vocals and emotional delivery. The lyrics are a poignant reminder that sometimes love is fleeting but powerful and unforgettable.
