Patsy Cline & Loretta Lynn Lyrics

Till my Lord comes and calls me calls me away oh yes
Oh well the morning's so bright and the lamb is the light
And the night night is as black as the sea oh yes
There will be peace peace in the valley for me some day
There will be peace in the valley for me oh Lord I pray
There'll be no sadness no sorrow no troubles I'll see
There will be peace peace in the valley for me
Well the bear will be gentle and the wolf will be tame
And the lion shall lay down down by the lamb oh yes
And the beast from the wild will be lead by little child
And I'll be changed changed from this creature that I am oh yes
There will be peace
Peace in the Valley is a gospel song by Thomas A. Dorsey that was first recorded by him in 1937. The song has since been recorded by various artists, and one of the most popular versions is the one by Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. The lyrics of the song speak of the hope for peace and ease of suffering that comes with faith in God. The opening lines, "Oh well I'm tired and so weary but I must go along, Till my Lord comes and calls me calls me away oh yes," speak of the weariness of life and the longing for the peace that comes with being called home to heaven.
The song goes on to describe a vision of a world without conflict or troubles, where even the wildest animals are tamed and led by a child. The lyrics state, "There'll be no sadness no sorrow no troubles I'll see, There will be peace peace in the valley for me." This vision of a peaceful world is often used as a metaphor for the promise of heaven and life after death.
Overall, Peace in the Valley is a powerful hymn that speaks to the human desire for peace and relief from the struggles of life. Through its imagery of a world without conflict or pain, the song offers hope and comfort to those who believe in the promise of eternal life.

Yeah, my moms got glioblastoma, and thank God I wrote this title of song down , she told me a couple yrs ago when she passes she wants this song for her funeral, she and I never dreamed of her and brain cancer..I have been looking and crying all day of where I wrote it...found it earlier under notes in her contact name number.
Oh God mom.....I love you so much.
This is so hard.....still and been over a month of dx and taking care of her..
They said...doctors anywhere from a couple weeks to couple months.
She's home with hospice and I've been here since.
Looking back at her old texts and anyhow at the time we were worried of dementia and she knew something was wrong.
She was saying "please dear god help me" continously, non stop. She was awake earlier for supper " and there still a little part of her in there. And says " help me"...
Don't know what I'm going to do without her.
