Ram on, give your heart to somebody
Soon, right away, right away

Who's that coming now, they're coming
Who's that coming now, now, baby?

Overall Meaning

Ram On by Paul & Linda McCartney is a song that is open to interpretation, but it seems to address the importance of giving one's heart to somebody. The lyrics suggest that one should not delay in doing so but should give their heart away right away. It is unclear who the song is specifically addressed to, but it could be aimed at somebody who is hesitant to give their heart to another person.

The lyrics also make a reference to somebody who is coming, and it is unclear who this person is or what their intentions might be. The uncertainty adds an element of tension to the song and leaves the listener wondering what might happen next. Overall, Ram On is a simple yet evocative song that captures the emotions of love and uncertainty.

I'm glad you found one of the best albums ever recorded. I was your age when I first started listening to it. I'm 62 now and probably hearing it for the 2,000th time.

How was this album panned by the critics at the time. It has such varied music styles and is so well made musically, he really is a genius

My wife and I have loved Ram since the day it was released. We were high school sweethearts at the time, and it quickly was established as "Our Album". It remains so to this day.
