'when I was running the camera on an indie cable show called The West Indian Show back in 1983 in Toronto, Champaign was in heavy rotation on our show - before licensing, before fees. We were cocky and loved our music hence playing these great tunes either over videos or just stock footage of parks that we had. First time I heard Champaign was when Simon Cater, who hosted the show, played them often. Maybe We Can Try Again and How About Us? became the soundtrack of a few of my heartbreaks over the years.
