La Siesta
Pauline en la Playa Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
Y poco a poco me vas
haciendo horizontal.
Y me trazas a besos
Y poco a poco me vas

The lyrics of Pauline en la Playa's "La siesta" describe a lover who is able to read the singer like a book, and who knows how to make them feel comfortable and relaxed. The lover is compared to dressing a salad and reading the tea leaves, suggesting that they have a deep understanding of the singer's needs and desires. The lover is able to turn the singer's belly into a comfortable pillow, where they can nap peacefully, and turns even the smallest puddle into an expansive bay, showing the depth of their love and influence over the singer.
