O Sole Mio
Pavarotti & Savage Garden Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Che bella cosa na jurnata 'e sole
N'aria serena dopo na tempesta
Pe' ll'aria fresca pare già na festa
Che bella cosa na jurnata 'e sole

Ma n'atu sole
Cchiu' bello, oi ne'
'O sole mio
Sta 'nfronte a te
'O sole, 'o sole mio
Sta 'nfronte a te
Sta 'nfronte a te

Quanno fa notte e 'o sole se ne scenne
Me vene quase 'na malincunia
Sotto 'a fenesta toia restarria
Quanno fa notte e 'o sole se ne scenne

Ma n'atu sole
Cchiu' bello, oi ne'
'O sole mio
Sta 'nfronte a te
'O sole, 'o sole mio

Sta 'nfronte a te
Sta 'nfronte a te

Exactly. Darren is not a trained opera singer that has spent decades perfecting his craft. He's a pop singer, with a great voice, and is hugely under-rated. He was about 28 years old and couldn't even speak the language he was singing in. I think he did a great job.

@Oecologeae

I love how Pavarotti smiles at Darren when he is singing. This was beautiful.

@raiden7358

I like how Darren just stands there when he is done singing. So respectful

@khategerona6871

yup and he is all with respect watching Pavarotti like he is just one of the audience 💙 Too much respect for both of them 👏👏👏
I love you so much Darren! 😍 my exceptional man.

@debraparker833

His Mama raised him right. Lovely and humble man with a beautiful soul.

Wow, I was never expecting that voice to come out of Darren. It was fantastic! He has amazing range, and I think it's unfair to compare him to someone who sings this type of music all the time. They're both amazing in what they do.

@bellabana

Darren sounds amazing, he's singing in Italian and in a much lower key than normal, beautiful.

@NguyenHien-wk3xz

I love it when Darren standing and staring at Luciano with lots of respect when it came to Luciano's turn to sing. Love their talents and attitudes.

@angelasilvi9090

Darren Hayes has one of the sexiest singing voices. And he got to sing with one of the best opera singers of all time. This also one of my favorite songs sung by Darren and the late great opera singer. He will be greatly missed.

@Yellow_Fox

I like how ironically Darren smiled as he was singing, he was like” Excuse me, I am not a pro.” But he did soo good, I love his voice.
