The violin, viola, medieval fiddles, he plays almost any instrument with the same virtuosity. He is praised for his style, well known as soloist, chamber musician and concert master.
The number of period instrument orchestras he has lead are so many, that it is hard to decided to mention which. The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and The Acadamy of Ancient Music are just two of them. He has become one of the most prominent figures in early music, with many recording for BBC, television and several record companies in cluding Naxos.

I am not normally a fan of classic music. BUT!! this is absolutely wonderful. I hope they play in Los Angeles when the mask-em-up nonsense is over. That being said I notice the many young people playing with the Voices of Music. I'm 85 and remember the Big Bands. Some years ago, I was bringing musical artists to America's domestic military bases with my Spirit of America Tour. Two of the shows were the Glenn Miller recreation band. They too had many young players. I asked one how he became interested in the music of Glenn Miller. His response was a killer. "You know, not all of my generation like rock and roll."
As a side note, when I inquired what the military families would like I was astounded when a large group asked for opera. I contacted the Met and their response was "Oh, no. We don't think military people would like opera." It never happened. It's a pity.
Thank you voices!!!
