It had been five years since the fans of Mike Patton had first heard of the Peeping Tom project and the growing anticipation soon turned into skepticism, for fear the project would never see the light of day. Fans were also teased with the leaking of demos some of which were nearly identical to the finished product.
"I'd send out a track and start working on something else," said Patton, explaining the Peeping Tom delay. "You don't sit around for the mailman to come, you work on other shit. And that's what I did. It was really something I worked on over a period of several years that was in the background of my life."
Patton describes Peeping Tom as his take on pop music: "I don't listen to the radio, but if I did, this is what I'd want it to sound like. This is my version of pop music. In a way, this is an exercise for me: taking all these things I've learned over the years and putting them into a pop format. I've worked with many people who have said to me, 'oh you have a pop record in you, eventually you'll find it,' and I always laughed at them. I guess I owe them an apology."
There are at least more three bands with the name Peeping Tom:

3) Biography from http://en.elektrolink.com/artists/djs_composers/peeping_tom/ :
Step by step, the ever-changing collective Peeping Tom is building a galaxy of its own in the world of electro. A fascinating constellation revolving around the hard core of Vincent Haenni and Gabriel Scotti has recently been observed: live scores for synthesized images and real time projections, soundscapes accompanying public readings by French actor Carlo Brandt , electro-dub performances, completed by an interactive website where the visitors can try their hands at the genre. Plus, of course, a first CD (ICare/Saturn Split/db32). And now, Liquid Sand, taking the listener to the borders of elegant and sensual downbeat music, where twelve new planets are unveiled. Visiting various musical styles (jazz, ambient, dub) as well as literary genres (from the Great French poets to a 1970s cookbook for the American housewife), Peeping Tom does not just sample the finest elements thereof. Like a giant cosmic reactor would turn sand into liquid, the duo amalgamates the components to an amazing degree of perfection. Yet, the result is never sterile, each of the twelve tracks being on the contrary a rich and welcoming biosphere. They now await your visit. You don't know who I am,
or where I've been.
Circling like a satellite.
Sigh post in the sky,
look at me.
The world is shaking me,
so the same(?).
So now I'm gonna sing,
I'm comin' home.
You hear my song through the galaxy.
Time's light has reached your eyes.
World has lived and died, but we're here.
Time and space are landing right where we're standing.
Open up your hand and something good will happen.
Drinking on the sun,
we found a whole new planet.
Stars align a thousand times that old black magic.
When no one is looking,
ain't gonna shut my mouth and I'm crying out.
When no one is looking,
I'm on the balcony singing the serenade.
When no one is looking,
I swallow thunder clouds, I kiss the hollowed ground.
When no one is looking,
I eat the desert sand and drink the Rio Grande.
When no one is looking,.
I'm crying raindrops and chewing mountain tops.
When no one is looking,
I break another rhyme and I'm stopping time.
I'm your neighborhood spaceman,
and your breath is moving through me.
On the surface of this moon I can say to you, "It's okay."
Somebody inside of us makes this joy a must(?),
then we'll be knee deep in ecstasy no gravity to hold us down again.
Were Free!
A thousand light years from this place,
I see the look on your face and I'm there.
Time and space are landing right where we're standing.
Open up your hand and something good will happen.
Drinking on the sun,
we found a whole new planet.
Stars align a thousand times that old black magic.
When no one is looking,
I'm gonna buckle down, I'm gonna hit the ground.
When no one is looking,
I got to understand, I'm packin' up again.
When no one is looking,
I'll pull the car around cause I'm leaving town.
When no one is looking,
I'm just a rocket man , I've seen the Vatican(?).
I'll never give up,
I'll never let you down, I'll bring you the crown.
I'll never give up,
but On the Other hand I wanna be the man.
I'll never give up,
I'll never let you down, I'll bring you the crown.
I'm courageous enough,
but on the other hand I'm out of here, my friend
The song "Your Neighborhood Spaceman" by Peeping Tom is an ode to the idea of being an intergalactic traveler. The singer is portraying themselves as an alien or "spaceman" who is observing the humans on Earth. Like a satellite, they are circling the planet and watching everything that happens. Even though they are an outsider, they are still able to communicate with humans through the power of music. The singer sings about the joys of being a spaceman, such as drinking on the sun and finding new planets, but also about the loneliness and isolation that comes with being an outsider.
The singer addresses the idea that when no one is looking, they are free to be themselves and express their emotions. They describe crying raindrops and chewing mountain tops, showing that they are not bound by the rules of the Earth. The singer repeats the phrase "when no one is looking" throughout the song, emphasizing the idea that they can only fully be themselves when they are not being observed or judged by others.
Overall, the song portrays the idea of being an outsider and the freedom that comes with that. The singer is able to observe and appreciate the beauty of the world without being tied down by any emotional or societal constraints. They are free to be themselves, even if no one else is watching.

"Circling like a satellite"... It's like POD paid tribute to the real God with "Alive", and then then same to the God's of this world with "Satellite"... it simply represents the technology that controls our minds. Tool's "Right in two' animated video depicts it well!
.
"Time's light has reached your eyes. World has lived and died, but we're here"... Or: "In a blink of an eye the world has already lived and died". "As above, so below" ... when we sleep, we go to a world no different than this one. It's what effects us 24/7, and the reason for all Disease, virus's, Mental illness!
.
"Open up your hand and something good will happen"... Why do you open your hand to wave at someone. It's a sharing!
.
"I eat the desert sand and drink the Rio Grande"... "Sandman"... there is a night club down the street that changed it's name to "The Rio". I'm pretty sure they torture Mexicans under there. I know they torture people all around me....
.
"I'm crying raindrops and chewing mountain tops"... Not sure about rain drops, unless the Gods are crying (revert back to first line). "Chewing mountain tops", I'm sure has to do with the Adirondacks... radiation cloning. Why would anyone from the north country want to vacation up there? Probably "Hostel". "Diet Mountain Dew" is suppose to be a way of "giving back" (the same as fetishes)!
.
"I break another rhyme and I'm stopping time"... I've said this one before. It's like correlating things said with a setup (this is the 3rd time around, and I'm sure the worst you guys have ever been), in which I am blamed with something I obviously wouldn't do. The stopping of time is literal (Static- "Cannibal"). And yes they are that greedy, and ridiculous. They can't even keep it on one side. "For whom the bell tolls, time marches on"! I live right across from a court house with a big bell in the front lawn! "And Justice For All"!
.
"On the surface of this moon I can say to you, It's okay Somebody inside of us makes this joy a must"(?)... not sure about that, besides I think the Moon is Zion/Heaven. They book it there when the world catches on, and game the whole planet from there, saying "It's okay", shrugging it off, like it means nothing. I'm pretty sure the crater impacts are actually nukes, or atom bomb strikes!
.
"Drinking on the sun, we found a whole new planet"... I'm sure it has to do with drinking my blood (the "forbidden knowledge" for a good reason) and finding a new blood. Which is why we are NOT reproducing (man you guys are dumb as shit)!
.
"I'll never let you down, I'll break through the crowd"... It used to be I'll bring you the crown". But obviously I don't want anything to do with the snuff cult, and rather see the world as "One" (don't make no sense, can't understand why we can't get along? You guys always say that I "weaken you", but how? Simply God given you a taste of what you put me though everyday!)...
