Alone Together
Peggy Lee Lyrics

Alone together, beyond the crowd
Above the world, we're not too proud to cling together
We're strong as long as we're together
Alone together, the blinding rain
The starless night, we're not in vain
For we're together, and what is there to fear together
Our love is as deep as the sea
Our love is as great as a love can be
And we can weather the great unknown
If we're alone together
We can weather the great unknown
If we're alone together
Alone together
Alone together
Alone together

Peggy was a fine musician and a class act. She also wrote some fine tunes, and wore the hottest clothes in the business for that time, in my opinion.

I agree entirely with you, Ricardo Marinheira. Sao voces unicas, inimitaveis. Descuple a falta de acentos diacriticos. "Joe Silmon" musico britanico de Jazz.

PEGGY LEE WAS TRULY A CLASS ACT.

Joe A A SILMON-MONERRI

Wonderful Peggy Lee - as always! But who are these fantastic musicians? What's the name of the band? I do recall that she had her own backing band, especially when Peggy went Latin. Anyway, they swing like crazy!!! Lovely to listen to. A great contrast with the slightly more orchestral Judy Garland version of a couple of decades earlier.. Thank you for making this available to the masses. Joe Silmon-Monerri, Manchester, UK.

I agree, what fantastic musicians. All their names are on the wikipedia page for the album that this song comes from, so just look up the album Things are Swingin'.

Interesting album title.... what sort of message was Peggy(or Capitol) trying to convey?
