I Lose Control

I lose all concentration
You're the only thing that I can see
Breathing intoxication
Boy, I got this energy it's crazy, oh
My mind won't rest, I get no sleep
My soul's possessed, I'm in so deep
I lose control when you're loving me
Is this the way love's supposed to be?
Beyond infatuation, no sense of reality
I don't have an explanation
For this vulnerability
Deep preoccupation, maddening intensity
It's crazy, oh
My mind won't rest, I get no sleep
My soul's possessed, I'm in so deep
You shake me up, I can't explain it
I losе control when you're loving me
Is this thе way love's supposed to be?
I lose control when you're loving me
Is this the way love's supposed to be?
I'm taking lead of my senses
I feel completely defenseless
Somehow you're leaving me breathless
And I can't explain the way I feel
I'm in love
I lose control when you're loving me
Is this the way love's supposed to be?
I lose control when you're loving me
Is this the way love's supposed to be?
I lose control when you're loving me
Is this the way love's supposed to be?
In Penny Ford's song "I Lose Control," the lyrics depict a woman who is completely enamored and infatuated with a man. From the very beginning of the song, she sings about the burning fascination that she feels streaking over her. The man has captivated her and she cannot think of anything else but him. The woman's concentration is lost, and she admits that he is the only thing that she can see. She explains the feeling of the man's breath as an intoxicating sensation, and that she has a crazy amount of energy due to him.
The chorus continues with the woman describing how the man makes her feel. She experiences a shaking of her entire being that she is unable to explain. It is clear she has a deep love for him because she describes how she loses control when he is in her presence. The woman then acknowledges that she is beyond infatuated and is now without a sense of reality. The emotions she feels are intense and maddening.
Even though her mind won't rest, and she has no sense of reality, the woman still falls in love with the man. She cannot explain how he makes her feel and admits to feeling extremely vulnerable. The final lines of the song reveal how much the man means to her. The woman feels completely defenseless and that the man has left her breathless.
