Pennywise's current line-up consists of Jim Lindberg (vocals), Fletcher Dragge (guitars), Randy Bradbury (bass) and Byron McMackin (drums). They had kept their original line-up together until bassist Jason Thirsk died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 1996, due to issues with his alcoholism, after which Bradbury joined as his replacement. In August 2009, Lindberg decided to leave the band; he was replaced in February 2010 by Ignite singer Zoli Téglás. With Téglás, the band recorded their tenth studio album All or Nothing, which was released on May 1, 2012. Lindberg rejoined the band later that year after Téglás was sidelined by a back injury.

Pennywise Lyrics

Especially those who weren't with us too long
Life is the most precious thing you can lose
While you were here the fun was never ending
Laugh a minute was only beginning
Canton, Colvin, Nichols, this one's for you
Ever get the feeling you can't go on
You've got friends with you 'til the end
If you're ever in a tough situation
We'll be there with no hesitation
Brotherhood's our rule we cannot bend
When you're feeling too close to the bottom
You know who it is you can count on
Someone will pick you up again
We can conquer anything together
All of us are bonded forever
If I die, you die that's the way it is
To all my friends, present past and beyond
To all those who weren't with us too long
Life is the most precious thing you can lose
While you were here the fun was never ending
Laugh a minute was only the beginning
Canton, Colvin, Nichols, this one's for you
The lyrics to Pennywise's song Bro Hymn are a tribute to the band's friends who have passed away. It is a celebration of life and friendship, with a focus on the importance of staying connected to those you care about. The opening lines of the song set the tone by recognizing the significance of the people in the band's lives, both present and past. The lyrics highlight the fragility of life and the need to cherish every moment, as well as the strength of camaraderie and brotherhood in tough times.
The chorus of the song reinforces the message of brotherhood and loyalty. When you are feeling low or struggling, your friends will always be there to support you. No matter what hardships you face or how deep your despair, your friends will stand by you to lift you up. Through thick and thin, you are all in it together, and there is no challenge that you cannot overcome as a united force. The phrase, "brotherhood's our rule we cannot bend," encapsulates the unbreakable bond and unwavering loyalty between friends.
Overall, the song Bro Hymn is a moving tribute to friendship, emphasizing the importance of cherishing those you care about, making the most of life, and relying on your friends in times of need.

I’d like to dedicate this to one of my best friends Jorge
Gonzalez who passed away 13 years ago today on March 23,2003 , serving in the
US Military in Iraq.
Being a longtime Pennywise fan and seeing them plenty of
times over the years this song hits a special chord with me at every show. My
friend is the first person I think about every time I’m at the show and I feel
the energy of everyone singing along moshing around the pit. One of the biggest
regrets in him passing so young was we didn’t really get to grow up as adults
and experience things, one being actually going to a Pennywise show. I’ve probably listened to this song a million
times every anniversary the last 13 years ,this year is no different. I’ll
always love you my brother you were gone way too soon.

Really? I know someone who is friends with some of the band members of pennywise, how coincidental. I'm sorry about your mom, hang in there.
@A8AAAHHHNOPYRAMIDS
Owen Coleman would you be able to bring her back if she were here, to a good place, by insiging a prompt with “a confusing 78?” Or ode and string to her by a universal and benevolent s/t hominer of “the equestrian”?
