Yanan. I know that your birthday was yesterday, but I was unable to celebrate it then. Still, I couldn’t let this day pass without saying all of this to you. My journey with supporting Pentagon has been unique in that I have supported Pentagon for awhile, but I didn’t become a Universe until two years ago. That being said, I was unaware of the history of the members of Pentagon and their ventures in and out of the group. I only found out last year, when I was finally acquainted with all of the members, about your absence from the group. One of the first things about the fans that I realized is how much they missed you when you were gone. I was unaware of your time away from Pentagon, and now that I have taken the time to see the legacy you have left on the group, the members, and the fans, I can see why the Universe were so distraught without you while you were gone. I have been fortunate enough to be shown, through the eyes of the fans, how beautiful of a human you are, even when you weren’t physically with the group. During your time with Pentagon, I have come to see how much of a valued member you are with all of the hard work and efforts that you put into your artistry. You have one of the most delicate singing voices I have ever heard. It is so light and full of emotion that you convey every time that you sing. Your playful dancing style and perfect execution of your movements makes it honorable to watch you. You are an absolutely exceptional performer and every time I see you do so, whether it be on the stage or elsewhere, you spoil your audience with your effortless and evident passion. I have watched you perform in several different instances with your members, and every time I get so delighted and relaxed watching you. I know all of Universe loves your performance style as well, and it is just one of the many parts about you that they missed. On top of this, I have loved getting used to your personality with the group and as an individual. You are just so kind and sweet to everybody that you come in contact with, and not only are you teaching your Universe to have more kindness in their hearts for everybody around them, but you are inspiring your members to do so as well. You have such a positive impact on everybody and each individual that has come to know you has been better because of it; including me. Hui my words are going to sound meaningless up against how I really feel about you so I'm trying my best explain how much I genuinely mean this. I haven't been a Pentagon for very long so I still have so much to learn about the group! However, I've spent enough time to know how much you've changed my perspective on every outlook on life. I've never seen an idol quite like you. First off, I had the luxury of watching a few of your performances from 'Breakers' which was my first time really getting to see you perform by yourself. I didn't realize how beautiful your voice is. You have a range and an ability to sing that I haven't seen in a long time, and on top of that, you are an expert dancer. The most impressive part of all of this is that you have outstanding breath control. You are able to furiously dance while still belting perfect notes and that is not a skill that very many people have. You re born to perform and I can't believe I am so fortunate to be moved by such a unique and even rare performance execution. Next, I want to talk about the emotions that come out when you see. During 'Breakers,' I learned a lot about you just from how you present yourself on stage and I have been absolutely moved by the side of you that you shared on stage. I was moved to tears seeing all of the emotions you've felt in your years as an idol come out on the stage and I was speechless. It's not often that performers have the effect on me, but everything you've felt I could feel simply because you are an outstanding and authentic performer. As I said before, I don't even know that much about Pentagon yet and I can't wait to learn more, but I already feel as if I have an understanding of you because of your incredible performances. You have a voice of gold; within it existing strength, rawness, sincerity, emotion, and power of the rarest kind. On top of this you are a sensational dancer with so much intensity, yet so much control of every movement. This is not just your 'Breakers' performances, but every time you hit the stage you have this charisma and charm that tells a story and proves you are meant to be performing,. For connecting me to music and life in a way that I never have before, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so proud of everything that you've done in your years as in idol, whether that be individually, with Pentagon, or with TRIPLE H. I have to thank you for supporting all of your members and being their light when they didn’t have one. It is indescribably difficult to blend so many personalities into one, but not only have you brought them together, but you are one of the closest families I’ve ever know. Jinho. I want to start with your musicality. I know it is plain to hear that you have one of the most grand voices that have ever sang. You are capable of hitting every and any note that you set your mind to, and of course, there are not many people who can do this. I’ve rarely met people with a range such as yours, while still having so much control of your voice when you hit every note; as well as not stretching it either. It is raspy at times, yet sweet and delicate at other times. You convey these concepts exceptionally well, due to your voice and its ability to sing every feeling of each one. It feels so real when you sing and your Universe can feel every emotion pouring through each line as if we have felt them ourselves. In addition to this, you are also an extremely talented and well-versed dancer. You are so playful when you dance and the fact that you always look like you’re having a blast is so contagious. You have so much energy that carries you through each performance and you execute each move with so much intricacy and detail. You bring every choreography to life with both the accuracy of your movements, and the character that you infuse into each one. Your moves are so fluid and the flow beautifully from one to the next. You have so much to offer musically and there is no other artist who can replicate your vision. "Runaway! Run into the fire!" I have always liked that the running into the fire can either be the same thing/your fear you were running away from and that you're now going to confront after gaining momentum OR you're inner fire itself that gives you a new power and opens a whole new world for you. Running away is usually considered a thing for the weak (or the smart, depending on the situation) and running into a fire is considered gutsy (and often times stupid). Idk I just get a weird satisfaction out of the two expressions being combined.

Yeah, I always read it as like they're "running away" from the safety nets that are suffocating them, and "into the fire," which might be more dangerous but is freedom and worth the risk. They're such poets, seriously.
