Neatly described as one of the world's best-kept secrets, Blake has released five studio albums, a sountrack to french movie "Presque Rien" and a live album recorded with an orchestra at Cirque Royale in Brussels.
In February 2005 Blake received a gold disc for two songs he co-wrote with Marco Sabiu for French icon Francoise Hardy. The album also won a French grammy.
Blake also had two songs featured in the movie "Trois Petites Filles", directed by Cannes award winning director, Jean-Loup Hubbert. He has collaborated with French Top 20 artist, Emilie Simon, performing a duet and scoring the choral arrangements.
Perry Blakes sixth studio album 'Canyon Songs' will be released in spring 2007. It's quite a departure from previous work with a strong melancholic country flavour.

Storms
Perry Blake Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Write it in the sky
And turn this grey to amber
And we'll give another try
And if you have a feeling
Love is there for good
Write it on the gravestones
Ride out the storm
Ride out the storm
Come with me
Ride out the storm
Ride out the storm
If you believe
If you believe
Everlasting, is that what you want?
Never demanding a soul's release
And if I knew the meaning
Or what it is to love
I would've known that feeling
Running through my blood
Ride out the storm
Ride out the storm
Come with me
Ride out the storm
Ride out the storm
If you believe
If you believe
That it's gone for good
Perry Blake's song "Storms" appears to be about maintaining hope and love in the face of difficult circumstances. The lyrics suggest that if the listener has the answers to life's challenges, they should showcase it to the world, turning the dreary skies into one of warmth and hope. The listener is also instructed to write love on the gravestones of "the misunderstood," suggesting that love can carry even in the face of death. The chorus encourages the listener to "ride out the storm," holding onto love and hope even in the most challenging of times.
The song also explores the concept of love and its complexities. The line "Everlasting, is that what you want? / Never demanding a soul's release" suggests that the singer is grappling with the intensity and permanence of love. The song also hints at missed opportunities for love, with the singer saying "And if I knew the meaning / Or what it is to love / I would've known that feeling / Running through my blood."
Overall, "Storms" is a poignant meditation on love and hope in the face of life's difficulties.
