Perry Como Lyrics

Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day
For love may come and tap you on the shoulder
Some starless night
Just in case you feel you wanna hold her
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away (never let it fade away)
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day (save it for a rainy day)
For love may come and tap you on the shoulder
Some starless night
And just in case you feel you wanna hold her
You'll have a pocketful of starlight
(Pocketful of starlight)
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away (never let it fade away)
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day (save it for a rainy day)
(Save it for a rainy, rainy, rainy day)
For when your troubles start multiplyin'
And they just might
It's easy to forget them without tryin'
With just a pocketful of starlight
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Never let it fade away (never let it fade away)
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket
Save it for a rainy day
(Save it for a rainy day)
Save it for a rainy day
The lyrics of Perry Como's song Catch a Falling Star are a sweet reminder to cherish the moments of happiness in life, hold onto them and save them for the rainy days. The metaphor of a falling star represents the fleeting and elusive nature of happiness and love, which needs to be caught and held onto tightly. The song urges the listener to catch the falling star and put it in their pocket, a place where it will never fade away and they can save it for the rainy days. Itโs a message of optimism and an encouragement to enjoy the good times while they last, and not to forget them when life gets tough.
The lyrics imply that love may come unexpectedly, and in the darkest of nights, so itโs important to be prepared to hold onto it. It's a reminder to cherish love while it's there, and to always be ready to embrace it. The last verse mentions that when troubles start multiplying, a pocketful of starlight provides an easy escape from them, without even trying. It's an optimistic message that reminds the listener to hold onto hope and try to see the light even in difficult times.

Have you ever tried to catch a piece of poop and put it in your pocket?
@allisonlopergolo491
Once during the summer when I was a child I was playing in the yard with my brother. I remember hearing faint music, soft bass coming from my grandmas living room. I recall looking through the window and seeing my grandma and grandpop dancing and twirling around the living room to this song. Iโll never forget it.
