I used to love listening to this song with my grandpa. Now he's gone, it gives me a sense on nostalgia, and along with it, a sense that I have lost an important part of my life. This song still brings back memories. Hope to see my grandpa again, on the other side, one day.

I have a similar story. My Grandad was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (terminal brain cancer) and I asked him what his favourite songs were while in the nursing home. This song and Cherry Pink And Apple Blossom White by Pat Boone were the songs he chose. His funeral was yesterday. I hope you and your grandpa see each other once more one day. <3
