If I Had A Hammer
Pete Seeger (Children's) Lyrics

If I had a hammer, I'd hammer in the morning
I'd hammer in the evening, all over this land
I'd hammer out danger, I'd hammer out a warning
I'd hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land

If I had a bell, I'd ring it in the morning
I'd ring it in the evening, all over this land
I'd ring it in danger, I'd ring out a warning
I'd ring in love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land
If I had a song, I'd sing it in the morning
I'd sing it in the evening, all over this land
I'd sing it in danger, I'd sing out a warning
I'd sing in love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land
Well I got a hammer and I got a bell
And I got a song to sing all over this land
It's the hammer of justice, it's the bell of freedom
It's a song about love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land

If I had a hammer
I'd hammer in the morning

This song makes me wanna listen to it over and over.. feels like a sign of good times for the future, but here We are, and depending what your POV is, feels like We’re something...

Jokes aside, this song is eerily beautiful as hell

Noes de wae two Galavant they were going to subvert the capitalist dogs and fascist pigs yes, there a problem there? Or is freedom and equality something bad?

@Noes de wae two Honesty I was being kind of facetious, but you want to get serious buddy? I'm here for you.
Hammer and sickle imagery generally relates to authoritarian communism in the style of Stalin or Mao. I don't support those dictatorial regimes, but if you want to count numbers of deaths, the system to be scared of is capitalism.
Adding up the genocides, and man made famines, imperialist wars, socialism comes nowhere near. If you add preventable deaths from deprevation and lack of healthcare, it's just depressing.
But this has nothing to do with what Pete wanted. People to have some control over their own lives, would that kill anyone?
