Schneewalzer
Peter Alexander Lyrics

The lyrics to Peter Alexander's song Schneewalzer describe the nostalgic and romantic memories of a couple's love story. The singer recalls the beginning of their happiness, which didn't happen during the warm and sunny seasons of summer, May or autumn. Instead, it was a cold winter, a snowy time when they danced together in a hall. The singer remembers feeling enamored by their partner and suggesting they dance the Schneewalzer, a traditional German waltz, together. The Schneewalzer became a symbol of their love and a memory they cherished.
The singer reminisces about their first dance in the snow with their partner, the way they held each other and how the dance made them feel warm and content. The singer also recalls other times in their relationship, such as when the roses were blooming and the fields were green. The memories of their love story come back to the singer often, and they reflect on how their love was special despite the season or time of year.
