This sounds like The Jesus And Mary Chains "Just Like Honey" (a song I always thought felt indebted to "Atmosphere"),and those vocals just compliment this so perfectly - a beautiful cover.

a first class cover version of a truly iconic song.. and I'm sure Bernard Sumner and Peter Saville would approve of the videographics... I was told many years ago that the Unknown Pleasures image was found by Bernard and turned into the album cover by Peter.

I agree with you, don't think anyone coming to their music can understand the pain and hurt felt by people who loved them. How difficult it is to now listen to Closer - this is far easier, but its good to listen to this rather than that.

really beautiful! thank you! love when a band covers a song by a band that disbanded, or some of the members have died, because they breathe new life into something thats dead either figuratively, literally, or both. thats a really beautiful thing. if ian curtis heard this i think it would warm his heart
