Jumping Jack Flash
Peter Frampton Lyrics
I was born in a cross-fire hurricane
And I howled at my ma' in the driving rain
But it's alright now, in fact it's a gas
But it's alright, jumpin' Jack Flash
Is a gas
I was schooled with a strap right across my back
I was raised by a toothless, bearded hag
But it's alright now, in fact it's a gas
But it's alright, jumpin' Jack Flash
I was drowned, I was beat up and left for dead
I looked down at my feet and I saw they bled
But it's alright now, in fact it's a gas
Alright, jumpin' Jack Flash

If one really wants to hear true Frampton Tone ck out Humble Pie Rockin the Fillmore Live Lp. You will even hear the lick at 2:00 in this track , where he originated it from in the HP's "I Don't Need No Doctor " Its about 3,30 into it. Pretty much all of where Frampton's awesome leads and sound developed from this time period of the double live record. Let me tell you something they were loud crunchy and honest musicians. His screamin solo in Stone Cold Fever (live) says it all !

Wished like anything to have seen him with the original Humble Pie but I did see them both enough separately for a good time .
