ale zase mladí na prehry.
Nekŕmte nás tým, čo bolo a čo bude.
do života drahé zápisné.

The song "Aj Tak Sme Frajeri" by Peter Nagy is a song about being confident and proud of oneself despite the challenges and failures faced in life. The lyrics suggest that the singer and his peers are getting older and may have experienced setbacks but they refuse to dwell on past mistakes or future uncertainties. Instead, they choose to focus on the present, facing the truth head-on, and remaining unyielding in their resolve. The refrain "Aj tak sme stále frajeri" (We are still cool anyway) is a declaration of unwavering confidence and self-worth.
In the first verse, Nagy uses the image of "princes too old to believe in fairy tales," signaling that the time for naivety is long gone. He then goes on to describe how his generation has witnessed life with a new perspective and henceforth sees things as they are. The line "Nekŕmte nás tým, čo bolo a čo bude" (Don't feed us with what was and what will be) emphasizes the idea of living in the present, motivating oneself for the present without dwelling on past experiences that may hold one down.
The second verse speaks more to human nature and its resilience. It highlights how people become better versions of themselves as they experience life's challenges. In the lines "Každou fackou trochu iní sme, do života drahé zápisné" (With each slap, we become a little bit different, the expensive registration into life), he expresses how every mistake or setback helps shape and prepare one for what lies ahead. The final refrain repeats the message of living in the present and being confident despite age, difficulties, or uncertainties.
