Thanks for having empathy. <3 I just went OFFF IN THE COMMENTS at these weak selfish idiots who talk sh1t about people who are suffering often to circumstances that were not within their own control. Imagine calling these people “peasants” and “they’ll always be junkies..” if that was true I wouldn’t be off the streets and so healthy. Homeless people are so resilient and i would never count them out, they are strong enough to get sober. But people like this who doubt them and look down on them and are mean to them when they ask for help only makes it worse … actually I would say those people are at more fault for this because they probably gave up on their own friends and family who were suffering instead of trying to help them and be an actual human being and they have to trash talk these people to not feel guilty about throwing their kids to the sharks

Yeah you're right because the church is supposed to be taken care of these people. The Catholic Church alone takes in billions of dollars every year, untaxed. They have a moral obligation to take care of the poor and they haven't been doing it for many decades.
