Subtle Disbalanced Liquidity
Phlebotomized Lyrics

Subtle disbalanced liquidity [2x]

Subtle disbalanced liquidity
I was sure to be set at ease
Instead of relieving me from my pains
A sense, a shred of my imagination involved

In therapeutical treatment
Suggestibility is used
By calling upon my symptoms in trance
Dislodge my repressed fears
Expel vexatious traumas
Drown now in my suggestive resistance

Not based on a mere physiological process
The state in which I now drop into
Here is where I am unobstructed
Nor beheld from access
Subconsciousness is my aspiration

Subtle disbalanced liquidity
The cure was within I reach
Some problems seemed to fade away
But the malignant sickness is here
Which tends to stay

Not based on a mere physiological process
The state in which I now drop into
Here is where I am unobstructed
Nor beheld from access
Subconsciousness is my aspiration

Subtle disbalanced liquidity [2x]

Take my opinion as a advise
The only way to loose this miraculousness
Is not the responsibility of a psychologist
It is also the will of the mind

Subtle disbalanced liquidity [2x]

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Phlebotomized's song "Subtle Disbalanced Liquidity" depict the singer's experience with a therapeutic treatment that is not working as expected. The first line of the song repeats the phrase "subtle disbalanced liquidity," implying that the singer is experiencing a sense of imbalance or fluidity in their emotional state. The singer had hoped that the treatment would relieve them of their pains, but instead, they find themselves caught between reality and imagination. The treatment seems to be using "suggestibility," calling upon their symptoms in a trance, to expel repressed fears and traumas.

The singer's state of mind is not based solely on a physiological process, but rather drops them into a state where they are "unobstructed" and not "beheld from access." The subconsciousness becomes their aspiration as the singer seeks to find relief from their condition. While some of their problems seem to fade away, the "malignant sickness" remains, which will not be easily cured.

Through the lyrics, the singer advises that while psychologists can offer help, the ultimate responsibility lies in individuals to find their own way of releasing themselves from their emotional state. The song conveys a sense of hopelessness and confusion that often accompanies mental health struggles.

I love how the band utilizes the violin and synths to sound bizarre and insane rather than pretty and romantic.

Kolenschopper

The synth makes the album stand out. I think its just an amazing new instrument in this (only) style of metal.

Mya Elbows

Well some of the guitar work on this album is amazing. There are some great things on this album, they're just overshadowed by the synth that I don't like. I can definitely understand why people would like this album though. There were quite a bit of unique and stand out DM albums released in 94', this is one of them.

EverxOpeningxFlower

Nice man, I love Tyranny from Above, one of my favorite dutch death metal records.

EverxOpeningxFlower

Thanks man, I definitely check that one out, you guys are/where great!

Kolenschopper

Synths and violins, just sound amazing with guitars and grunts! Anyway, what do you like about the album then?

Nick Burpee

Mya Elbows

Yeah it's personally just not my thing :)

Mya Elbows

I just don't like the synth on this album like so many others. Don't like it.
