Panzer Creed

He looked to his back to see the young and old run for safety. The last of thousands the man shrugged. Looking forward the man knew what must be done.

He took a slow step forward and began to speak
"Lo, there do I see my father." He whispered.
The hoard of foul creatures chewed up the ground as they advanced.
"Lo, there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers." His voice growing louder.
"Lo, there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning." His pace quickening.
"Lo, they do call to me." The monsters raged at him as they sprinted.
"They bid me take my place among them." The man shouted as he readied his sword.
"In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever!" He screamed as he leaped  into the Hoard.

Lord 445

This is a short story i came up with. I'm sorry for any mistakes. I hope you enjoy.

They sat in silence by the fireplace as the old warrior began his tale:
- It was a long time ago - he said - a time when I was a member of The Order. We were the best knights of the kingdom and we were proud defenders of Pinvalle. Then it happend.....
A warrior stopped for a moment and then continue:
- in the year 244 of the I era the Kesh'ar Empire, kingdom from the wide grasslands of Khel Ahar crossed the border and attacked our Kingdom. They pillaged their way throught out the Pinvalle burnnig town after town and killing many soldiers. Finally they came to us. On the valley of Mirraw Thar we made our stand, mere 2000 men against the unstoppable tide of enemy forces. Yet we standed still, their attacks crushing against our wall of steel and flesh like tide against the stones on shore during storm. The blood from the fallen turned the ground to crimson mud. We fought all 20 days. But we couldn't win, we were outnumbered so we made our final stand and fought hard as long as we could. But enemy numbers were to great. We, the proudest of the knights, the best of guard were cut down almost to a man.
- How many of you survived? - asked young ranger sitting near by.
Old warrior looked at him and said:
- One.

The very sky itself looks on at the ominous scene. Unafraid of the clattering sea of steel and iron, the lone knight stands defiant against that which took his homeland. With a ghostly veil of fog and dust hanging over the field of battle, the lone knight stares onward.

Knowing not what will become of him, he stands ready to embrace death... or vengeance. Ready to feel his enemies' blood hot upon his skin and hear their cries for mercy cold in the bitter air, he draws his unforgiving blade and grins a wolfish yet empty grin.

"I fight to show what value I have." He whispers through his helm. "I fight to demonstrate that unforgiving is the embrace of a soldier without a king and a warrior without a cause."

Those are the words he mutters before he enters the fray from which he may never return from. He may die this day, yet his enemies... will suffer before he commits his soul to the deep.

"I will you my worth."

An excerpt from a story I've been writing:

Tarris turned to his 500 brave Valeans, their faces caked with dirt, their steel armour blackened with mud, and their eyes full of despair, as they looked upon the vast Norse host, they glanced at one another, they knew the end had come. Tarris knew this as well, yet his sword gleamed as magnificently as ever when he drew it from it's gold-encrusted sheath. And when he spoke, his voice was heavy with the truth:

"Lads, the 20th is finished, we're all that's left"

He pointed his sword towards the encroaching horde.

"If those bastards get through, your families will be slaughtered, your homes burned, your way of life erased from history"

One by one, the men nodded in agreement, sombre, sad, but accepting of their fate. Their were tears in Tarris' eyes now.

"I am glad to have known each and every one of you.... I'll see you in the World Above!" He shouted, raising the blade high above his plumed helm.

The air rang through the valley as the Men of Valea drew their swords, their war cries drowning out the drums of the Norsemen.

"Valea nu Dara!" Tarris cried.

"Valea nu Drakken!" Five hundred voices replied.

got another one

"Honor. What do you know about honor?
You were dishonorable from the beginning!"

A lonely blade
A lonely warrior
A lonely man
His armor a balance of power and flexibility, a broadsword forged from dragon fire and a mix of Elfish and Dwarf metal.
And the curse to be immortal.
Death is another thing in his life, he won't fall.
His soul is like fire
His heart full of rage
His eyes full filled with darkness
He laughs with a withering smile

He will not leave any survivor

This type of music genre has to be by far the best because it just lets your imagination go.

"I have lost everything, loved ones, friends EVERYTHING but i shall not kneel before this army of 1000 NO I raise my blade with the rage of an entire army and i will fight for this kingdom!" The knight runs toward the army his battle cry could be heard by the entire enemy army and as they clashed the sun glistened off his blade revealing the hidden words engraved into the steel. Blood and Honor.

"Noble and manly music invigorates the spirit, strengthens the wavering man, and incites him to great and worthy deeds" As a LoL player I have to admit that placing a ward while listening to this song, feels epic!

This is truly an epic piece of music. It perfectly fits the scene - A soldier giving his all not for lands, wealth, power, or women; just for the sake of making a stand.

"I will work, I will save, I will sacrifice, I will endure. I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost, as if the issue of the whole struggle depended on me alone."
