They kicked me when I was down and they spit on my shoes. Suicidal thoughts, I didn't know what to do.
People treated me poorly when I was down, and I struggled with suicidal thoughts.

Then I prayed to God for answers, didn't know who else to turn to.
When I was desperate, I prayed to God for guidance because I didn't know where else to turn.

Sick of people speakin on that shit that don't concern you.
I am tired of people talking about things that are not their concern.

Have you ever loved somebody so bad it fuckin hurts you?
Have you ever loved someone so much that it hurts you?

Searchin for a better life but patience is a virtue.
I am looking for a better life, but I know that patience is important.
