Their first release, 2014's self-titled EP, featured three songs (including debut single "Speak Softly") that would later appear in acoustic form on the Broken Home Sessions EP and the fleshed out Monstrous Things EP, which arrived in 2015
In the summer of 2017, Picturesque issued their debut LP, Back to Beautiful, which included singles "Fake Fiction," "New Face," and "Honestly".
"In the spring of 2020 Picturesque released their Sophomore Album titled "Do You Feel O.K.?" released via Equal Vision Records. Picturesque decided to take a different direction and went with a more alt rock/hard rock route instead of their post-hardcore sound like their debut album "Back to Beautiful." This album includes singles "Necessary," "Crimes," "Swipe," "ATTN:," and "Pray" which acquired more than 4 Million streams on Spotify.
Picturesque is a band that should not be slept on in the scene. They are here to stay and they are here to slay.

Bring out the worst in you
Bring out the best in me
And so
I've gotta learn to let you go
It's fake, fiction, make believe
You wouldn't share the truth
I was too blind to see
I've gotta learn to let you
Learn to let you go
First up with the worst luck
Impulsive calls
Chew me up and spit me out
Each time I fall
Why can't you just be real with me
It's all, it's all
It's all, it's all just
Fake, fiction, make believe
Bring out the worst in you
Bring out the best in me
And so
I've gotta learn to let you go
It's fake, fiction, make believe
You wouldn't share the truth
I was too blind to see
And so
I've gotta learn to let you
Learn to let you go
I know, I know
It'll never be the same
I am, I am
Certainly ashamed
The tell tale in your eyes
When you wear that crooked smile
That crooked smile
That crooked smile
Fake, fiction, make believe
Bring out the worst in you
Bring out the best in me
And so
I've gotta learn to let you go
Fake, fiction, make believe
Bring out the worst in you
Bring out the best in me
And so
I've gotta learn to let you go
It's fake, fiction, make believe
You wouldn't share the truth
I was too blind to see
And so
I've gotta learn to let you
Learn to let you go
In Picturesque's song "Fake Fiction", the lyrics are about a relationship built on lies and deceit. The singer is angry and hurt that their partner wasn't truthful with them and they realize that they have to move on from this fake love. The lyrics "fake, fiction, make believe" are repeated throughout the song and serve as a reminder that the love they thought they had was never real. The singer acknowledges that their partner brought out both the best and worst in them, but ultimately, it was not worth the pain and the lies. The lyrics "I've gotta learn to let you go" repeat as the singer tries to move on from this relationship.
The second verse describes the singer's frustration with their partner's lack of honesty. They feel like they are being chewed up and spit out every time they fall for their partner's lies. They call out their partner, asking why they can't just be real with them. The bridge includes the lyrics "I know, I know it'll never be the same, I am, I am certainly ashamed" which suggests that the singer feels betrayed and ashamed of falling for the fake love.
Overall, "Fake Fiction" is a powerful song about the pain of being in a relationship built on lies. The repetition of the lyrics "fake, fiction, make believe" adds to the emotional impact of the song and the realization that the love they thought they shared was never real.
