The next album, "Marchef w butonierce", arguably their most popular one, saw the light in 2001.

Tyle Dróg

Tyle dróg miało być najlepszych
Tyle dróg było tymi jedynymi
A wszystkie te jedyne i słuszne drogi
Okazały się ślepymi
Drogi porastały chwastami jałowymi
Buty maszerowały od wschodu do zachodu słońca
Nie było widać końca
Cuda chodzą parami
W siedmiomilowych butach
Nie legitymują się dokumentami
Czy ty wierzysz w cuda?
The song "Tyle dróg" by Pidżama Porno is about the disappointment one feels when they realize that the paths they have chosen in life, the ones they believed would lead them to their desired destination, were nothing but dead ends. The lyrics describe how there were so many paths that were supposed to be the best, only to find out that they were all wrong. The roads were overgrown with weed and the journey was long and pointless. There was no beginning or end in sight, and the frustration and disillusionment were palpable.
The lyrics ask the question of whether one believes in miracles, asking if there is still hope for something good to come out of all the wrong turns. The line "W siedmiomilowych butach" (in seven-league boots) is a reference to fairy tales, where the characters' magical footwear would take them great distances in a single step. The shoes symbolize the idea that sometimes the impossible can happen, but only when we believe in it.
The song is a reflection of the band's frustration with the state of the Polish music scene in the 1990s, where they felt that the industry was focused more on commercial success than artistic integrity. The band members felt that they had strayed from their original vision and had become disillusioned with the business side of music. The song expresses their feelings of disappointment and disillusionment while also questioning the value of perseverance in the face of adversity.
