The Cheap Bouquet
Pierce The Veil Lyrics

And at the top of our lungs
Our hands are free
Our lives have just begun
It's getting dark we should go back
But what's the use if what you love is what you have
And I could die right now
For something beautiful to take me somewhere else
Oh, I try
But I can't calm down
As I drag myself along these severed hands
Are doing the very best they can
I'm gonna buy a cheap bouquet
Before it dies on the display
Gonna break down
Break down the better side of me
The better side of me
Well I know, I know
If I die young
Then we can wake up screaming in your bed
And our lungs are begging us to calm down
And I scare myself with all that talk of severing
Doing the best or so it seems
You've been mistaken
Your finger is on the scale
Burn like you never have before
Stop, drop and roll don't work in hell
So what if I forget regret
So what if I
So what if I forget regret
I want you to know that I
That I've wrote this line a thousand times Forget regret
This must be the way it ends
Calm down
As I drag myself along these severed hands
Are doing the very best they can
As I drive my car into the sea
I taste you like a hammer through my teeth
Will someone tell me what it means
To be alive
It feels just like the feeling when you die
Oh, alright
I'm dead and I don't care if it's cold outside anymore
So come on
Let's have some fun
The song "The Cheap Bouquet" by Pierce the Veil is about the desire to stay young and live life without regrets. The lyrics encourage the listener to scream and let out their emotions, even if it gets scary. It speaks to the fear of growing old and losing the excitement of youth. The singer of the song doesn't want to waste time on things that don't matter or on people who don't make them feel alive. The lyrics paint a picture of reckless abandon, driving a car into the sea, and tasting life like a hammer between one's teeth.
The melody of the song is energetic and fast-paced, which fits well with the theme of living in the moment. The chorus is uplifting and encourages the listener to let go of their fears and worries. The verses, on the other hand, are more introspective and talk about the singer's struggle with anxiety and fear of death. The bridge section is particularly powerful, as it repeats the phrase "forget regret" over and over, as if to affirm that the best way to live life is to let go of the past and focus on the present.

Stay young
Let's try to retain the spirit of youth
And at the top of our lungs
Let's scream our heart out, expressing our happiness
Our hands are free
We have power over our lives
Our lives have just begun
We still have a lot to explore and experience, don't waste time
It's getting dark we should go back
We must accept the harsh reality before it's too late
But what's the use if what you love is what you have
Enjoy the moment, as what we have is what we love the most
And I could die right now
I wish to have a beautiful escape from life
For something beautiful to take me somewhere else
I crave something extraordinary to happen in life
Oh, I try
I'm trying my best
But I can't calm down
I'm too restless and anxious
As I drag myself along these severed hands
I'm struggling to deal with broken relationships
Are doing the very best they can
Trying hard to make things better
I'm gonna buy a cheap bouquet
I'll buy a simple yet beautiful thing to bring joy
Before it dies on the display
Before it loses its freshness and beauty
Gonna break down
I'm about to crumble emotionally
Break down the better side of me
I'm losing the best version of myself
Well I know, I know
I acknowledge the facts
If I die young
In case I don't live long enough
Then we can wake up screaming in your bed
We won't be alive to witness reality, so no worries
And our lungs are begging us to calm down
Trying to calm our racing heartbeats
And I scare myself with all that talk of severing
Intense fearful thoughts haunt me
Doing the best or so it seems
Trying our best to handle challenges
You've been mistaken
Your perspective may be wrong
Your finger is on the scale
You're cheating, manipulating, or influencing unfairly
Burn like you never have before
Let passion and excitement fuel you beyond your limits
Stop, drop and roll don't work in hell
Certain mistakes can't be undone, regrets can be intense
So what if I forget regret
Why worry about past mistakes, we can't change them now
I want you to know that I
I need you to understand
That I've wrote this line a thousand times Forget regret
I've been reflecting a lot, and it's time to move on
This must be the way it ends
The reality is harsh and final
As I drive my car into the sea
I've given up on life
I taste you like a hammer through my teeth
I'm still holding onto the memories of a loved one
Will someone tell me what it means
I'm confused and seeking answers
To be alive
What does it take to feel alive?
It feels just like the feeling when you die
The intensity of feeling alive is close to that of dying
Oh, alright
I'll go through with this
I'm dead and I don't care if it's cold outside anymore
I'm numb to everything
So come on
Let's do this anyway, doesn't matter anymore
Let's have some fun
Let's experience something, anything - doesn't matter what

(Has estado equivocado)
Olvidar arrepentirse
Cálmate mientras me arrastro
¿Alguien me dirá qué significa estar vivo?
