The group debuted on 6th January 2011 with their mini-album, “Piggy Style,” on various music sites. “TREND,” the title track from their debut, is especially fascinating in that it features lyrics expressing their personal feelings on their image. “I’m always confident, I don’t care about anything else, what’s wrong with my body? My face is unique.”
The group released an album ("Hakuna Matata") in mid-2011 and three digital singles in 2012 ("Sarangi Mwogillae", "Rule the Sky" and "Sarangeul Mollannabwa") before going on hiatus for over a year.
The group returned in September 2013 with a completely different lineup. Their agency said "We have boldly decided to abandon the original Piggy Dolls concept and have gone for a new character while preparing for this comeback. If we were to compare Piggy Dolls to a dish, then the Piggy Dolls character up till now has been a dish that has been spicy and sweet. This time it will be a generous dish containing a wide variety of toppings that taste salty, sour, and heart-breakingly bitter as well.”

I miss the original members. They had amazing voices, strong vocals and charisma. I hope I can see them someday. The new members were not bad. What groups can sing like the old Piggy Dolls in the recent kpop scene? :) I wish the new girls were given another name. Winning Insight made a big mistake. No, they have made mistakeS. It makes me angry and sad to think how many talented singers this company has lost. But I could see those gems thanks to this label. Winning Insight (and Winning Insight M) was one of the few companies sending vocally good groups constantly to the market.
