Pilaseca Lyrics

Epa Epa Eh, Epa, Pilaseca
The lyrics to Pilaseca's song "Hip Hop" are quite interesting and open to interpretation. The opening lines go "Estaba platicando con mi cama la otra noche. Ella me dijo ya no aguanto más" which translates to "I was talking to my bed the other night. It told me it can't take it anymore". This can be interpreted as a metaphor for loneliness or a lack of someone to share the bed with.
The next line goes "¿Por que me reclamas si te doy placer todas las noches? Se que estas feliz aunque no aguantes más" which can be interpreted as a dialogue with oneself about the pleasures of sleeping alone. The verses continue to discuss the idea of personal growth and learning while also having fleeting experiences with different women. The hook of the song is "Epa Epa Eh, Epa, Pilaseca" which seems to be a chant or celebration of life. Overall, the song seems to explore ideas of individuality, personal growth, and enjoying life's pleasures.
