Over the last few years of making music Brian Flechtner has sought to explore the human condition of the traveler and stranger (both emotionally and physically) found living within his skin. On previous releases he wavered between dark slow rhythms and soulful lyrics. He has gone the route of exploring the soundscapes that haunt him. This new EP is all about tone and place.

"Pilgrims" may also refer to a band that released a psych album called "Spooky Time" in Japan circa 1972. This was reissued by Shadoks.
