I had one of these cases (can't remember the company), and i LOVED it. Definitely better protecting, at least against shock. Having it sitting in a molded housing, but with the light weight is awesome.
I have an Eric Johnson strat that weighs like 7.5 pounds, but the hardshell pro case is like 14 pounds and it's heavy as hell to carry around.

I personally can recommend hands down Harley Benton because I've had 2 and they've been amazing for the price in every single regard. It's so nice to live in a time where budget brands are doing good instruments. When I started everything under 200 bucks was straight up garbage.

A couple of videos ago I had written asking for advice about a Gibson classic I bought that looked like it was a failed abortion. Your subscribers reached out to me with some grate advice, thanks guys who helped me out. Gibson is so overpriced its criminal in thought. I returned it and bought a Shecter Solo II for half the price of the classic it came with locking tuners, ebony fret board, STAINLESS STEEL FRETS, coil splits, and a beautiful finish with satin neck. I'll never buy a Gibson again, I'm not saying their guitars are shit but their overcharging us because of the name Gibson, very very sad 😞 Everyone be safe peace😎✌

I want them to release another model with a Copper top. Preferably a Traditional or something with the 50s neck. I had an 03 Classic, but i just really didn't like the slim 60s neck.

Hey, at least the FR on the Epiphone can be decked, so it's basically like a regular trem, but it can be locked and you could actually detune it without everything going out of tune

As soon as I saw the finish of the guitar in the thumbnail I knew exactly what it was. I didn't see even notice the horse until I clicked on the video. I'm not even a fan of the bloke lol.

I really hope the next explorer you review is the new Epiphone Extura. I'm interested in buying one but i want to know how good they are QC wise.

Congrats on the new unbox room. My advice would be to dress the rear wall a bit with some funky bits n bobs and some random light up things. Just a suggestion I realise you have had no time yet. I am sure your viewers could send you some things to hang up. Keep it up. Great Channel :)

Do you ever purchase left handed gibsons for resale? I’ve always wanted a late 70’s-80’s LP, but I’m not knowledgeable enough to spot fakes! Also, thoughts on 70’s Ibanez lawsuit guitars- worth the money?

@darryl hendérson I’ve been watching the Gibson reverb shop, and i want a high end LP. I’ve many mid range guitars, from player starts to Schecter and EVH, even a S7G lefty 7-string i never play! But i want a Gibson. I’ve always wanted one, since i was 10 years old! My mom and dad promised me one and their finances fell through, so i was out of luck.... my first high end electric was a 1983.5 lefty Fullerton Two Knob Strat. I wish i still had that! It’s actually worth a lot!

I have two Donner pedals a looper and compressor, maybe $40 into both and I couldn’t be happier. I’m 45 and the level of gear available in the low end is amazing to me…. But I come here to drool over everything Gibson

The lighting looks so cold and harsh, with blinding reflections. Kind of like florescent celling lights. I know you're still adjusting things though. I'm sure it's gonna look fantastic once you're finished.

Its weird to me that Epiphone has released two explorer models in the last year and messed with the shape of both. I guess I'm just a stickler for the classics because I don't like either redesign.

They are the same shape. You need it for the 24 fret to work. It is close to the 80's shape and like what evh used with his Ibanez destroyer that was dressed as a Gibson.

Now we're talkin'. I dig Copper top Lps, also Antique Natural, Olive, and i think Pelham Blue looks great, as well, Oxford Gray. The lighting is contrast-y, hot spots and shadow, some soft boxes and umbrellas fix that. The Jimi SG, i have problem with the wiggle stick, they look flimsy to me- but Bigsby look like solid chunk of hardware. The T-Horse, Flame Gray, Love it. The demo sound was more "garage band" than studio slick. Not a bad idea having close mic/direct sounds and ambient room on demos. Cool beans. Ü♫

Okay, the answers are this: The sound is more or less back to normal, the lighting and everything seems really good, but I can see where that room is quite small in reality. You might have to use the hallway or something as a staging area, and only keep one guitar in the room at a time. But overall it looks decent and nice and clear both visually and sonically.

Exactly! And it’s crazy that the more beat up it is the more it costs! When I buy a new guitar I expect it to be all nice and clean like a new car. If it gets beat up down the road from me playing it I’m cool with that, but I wouldn’t pay to have a new guitar with dents and scratches all over it.

Brendon Small was on record saying that this guitar has a floyd because he grew up listening to Guitarists like Vai, EVH and Paul Gilberts, who all used Floyds. It's funny because he doesn't use a whammy bar on any of the Dethklok or Galaktikon stuff (the song Ghosthorse excluded, for obvious reasons).

@AutisticHead I don't see that as their market. It may be a small part of it but the base lines are what brings in the cash and they have remained the same price adjusted for inflation for 70 years. As for the more pricey stuff, its supply and demand like everything else. Not sure why people think collectors or "hedge fund types" shouldn't be able to buy collector pieces. Or that only Doctors and Lawyers buy them or even that that is a bad thing if they did. I own a guitar shop and have plenty of doctors and Lawyers that buy expensive pieces. They also play the shit out of them. I've never had anyone buy a guitar and say "I'm keeping this in the case for 50 years until it's worth more than I payed".
Bottom line is everything doesn't need to be geared toward the introductory market. Sorry for the folks who can't afford it but others can and they have just as much right to spend their cash on whatever they want just as much as the other guy. Our society is being trained to hate people with money and objects they can't afford. To assume they are evil or unworthy. It's a shame.

Its worth noting that Donner do a "refund-after-review" type of thing where a customer can pay for the product, review it and if Donner like the (positive) review they'll refund your money, which is why 99% of Donner YouTube reviews are positive. Donner pedals are rehoused Mooers but with lower quality materials (bubbling paint, rusting screws, crooked pots and a flaw in the cheaper led, whereas my mooer bought at the same time is still in perfect condition after 2 years. For the pedals at least you're better off getting a mooer from AliExpress, same price but better build quality. The Donner guitar headstock looks like a Harley Benton one so it might be from the same factory, which would be a decent purchase for US customers. Just my 2 cents and observations

Wouldn't buy a Gibson with a vibrola or bigsby, those things are known for knocking the guitar out of tune, I would consider a floyd rose though.

Hendrix used plenty of Gibsons but they didn't get a lot of footage or pics. There was a way cool right handed 54 P-90 Les Paul Custom with staple neck pickup, two flying V's and the SG Custom which actually got a lot of photos toward the end of his career.
