When It Rains
Pink Turns Blue Lyrics

On your radio
Now you listen to what I say
What I say to you
Angels crashing to the ground
It's a fallout in the sky
No one knows what will happen
When it falls today
When it rains
When it rains
I switch off the light machine
Because my mission's done
I was looking for a shadow
In the city of the sun
You can see me in my capsule
It looks like a satellite
When the first drops fall on you
I will be out of sight
When it rains
When it rains
Children play and parents pray
It has always been the same
Life goes on in a certain way
Until something stops the game
Cars collide and people strike
Politicians think of suicide
The clocks stop ticking the hours away
Because the time stands still still tonight
When it rains
So let it rain
The lyrics to Pink Turns Blue's song "When It Rains" can be interpreted in a number of ways, but one interpretation is that the song is about chaos and uncertainty. The line "Angels crashing to the ground / It's a fallout in the sky" suggests a catastrophic event that no one can predict or control. The line "Children play and parents pray / It has always been the same" suggests that even in the face of chaos, people continue with their daily lives and routines.
The lines "Cars collide and people strike / Politicians think of suicide" suggest a breakdown of societal order and systems. The line "The clocks stop ticking the hours away / Because the time stands still still tonight" suggests that time itself has stopped, emphasizing the sense of chaos and confusion.
Another interpretation is that the song is about the power of nature. The line "When the first drops fall on you / I will be out of sight" suggests that the singer is observing a thunderstorm. The line "Cars collide and people strike / Politicians think of suicide" can be interpreted as a reminder of the insignificance of human affairs in the face of nature's power.
Overall, "When It Rains" is a song that invites reflection on the unpredictability of life, the fragility of human systems, and the power of nature.
