I remembered this moment. After Zlvata died from a unexpected soldier in the Construction Site, it was only Christo and Iskra left alive, then the winter came and this soundtrack played. Iskra was depressed and questioned if Zlvata would ever come back and Christo could only hug her, trying to hide the emotion that Zlvata has died and she would never come back. This part almost made me lose hope of surviving just the 2 of us. Luckily Bruno came along and it raised my hopes of surviving again. However I would forever remember this moment in this amazing game

Thats cute, i was more desperate when trying to keep 2 children fed and safe, we were still raided.. they took all our food. One of the kids got hurt in the raid.

Slowly trembling around in a cold frozen house all by yourself, trying to make your way to the medicine because you're sick, with this music playing in the background, remembering the good days when your 2 friends were still with you.. Wondering how it'd be like... if you'd still be in this position, had your friends not been forced to risk their lives for food..

Buildings covered in moss, tall grass growing through cracks in the roads and parking lots, trees sprouting from the rubble. Picture yourself wandering through that city with nothing but birds to keep you company. The only sounds you hear are their chirping mixed with the wind and the creaking of old buildings. No one lives here anymore. They moved to more rural areas of what once was a great nation. They moved long ago. Radiation back then was too high for this city to be habitable. Now, it's something that people had forgotten about. Left here... empty... old rusty cars and restaurants with residue on the walls. Food must be hunted now. People have long since learned how to make pre-war guns... but firing shots can't reclaim society. It will take time. For now, we have nothing but these remnants left behind from those who saw the bright lights of death. You have no group. you are alone.

I once had a duo of which one got shot about 44 days in. Watching the other half of the duo putter about on her own, trying to keep things going was pretty sad. Then a severely ill one came by literally the day after, and I was stuck between deciding if I should turn her away or let her in. On the one hand, one survivor alone is pretty much doomed, but on the other hand this one would be kind of a load, and if she died too it might have tipped my first girl into depression. Luckily they made it through, but it was really sad to play a twosome for so long, then see one left behind.
