1.) Piper was a New York City based pop rock/power pop band from 1975-1978. They released two albums for A&M Records: a self-titled debut in 1976 that was followed by 'Can't Wait' in 1977. After touring with Kiss during the Love Gun tour, but receiving little airplay, the group then dissolved. Lead singer/guitarist Billy Squier went on to become a successful solo artist in the early 80s. Drummer Richie Fontana went on to play drums on Paul Stanley's 1978 platinum solo album and later with Laura Branigan. Today, they have an underground following among fans of obscure oldies rock.
Piper was: Billy Squier (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Alan Nolan (Guitar/backing vocals),Tommy Gunn (Guitar/backing vocals), Danny McGary (Bass/backing vocals), Richie Fontana (Drums/backing vocals)
2.) Led by guitarist/vocalist Keisuke Yamamoto, Piper is a city pop band formed in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1981. A move to Tokyo was followed by the release of their first single on Yupiteru Records, thanks to original guitarist Yuji Suzuki who had become an A&R man for the label. Citing British bands like Wishbone Ash and Camel as influences, Yamamoto and Piper nevertheless conjured up classic American sounds on Piperβs recordings, utilizing unusual recording techniques and new technologies like Linn drums to effortlessly blend styles of funk, soul and fusion and simultaneously evoking summer vibes, autumnal breezes, and wintery shimmer. The group reunited in 2018 and performed in Blues Alley in Tokyo in 2019 and at Rock Joint GB in 2020. As of 2021, their albums I'm Not in Love, Summer Breeze, Gentle Breeze and Sunshine Kiz have been reissued by Light in the Attic Records.

Show you my thing, show you my thing
Cause I wanna take you down town
Show you my thing, show you my thing
Go down go down go down go down town
Go down go down go down go down
The walls that always invite
Get it right no more fight
You'll be there up all night
I'll give you a bus ride a pox slide(?) a High rise full of suprises
Smith path(?)
Follow track
All the way to my flat
Come with me come with me come with me come with me there
Cause I wanna take you down town
Show you my thing, show you my thing
Cause I wanna take you down town
Show you my thing, show you my thing
Cause I wanna take you down town
Went to your area and I thought I would bury ya
Touched a monolith and it caused a hysrteria
