Akatu
Piperrak Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
ta ez ba dakik galdeiok hire buruari nondik dabilen
Gaur egun gertatzen diren gauzak munduan
duela berrogei urte antzerakoak ziren
Jendea berriz Alemanian hasi da ukabilka
ta European arrazismoa berpizten dabil
Berrio denok faszitak jasan behar
berriro etsaia kaleetan aske dabil
berriro zapaldu nahiez beti bezala ostika!
Jakina da betidanik ego direla heriotzak
jakina ere aspaldi txakurra hil zela
baina txakurra hilda, desagertu ez zen dena
oraindik jasan behar gaixotasuna
Berriro denok faszistak jasan behar...
ARRAZISMOA AKATU!
FASZIMO AKATU!
The song Akatu by Piperrak is a political commentary on the resurgence of fascism and racism in Europe, specifically in Germany. The lyrics are a call to action against these ideologies, urging people to resist and fight against them. The opening lines of the song, "Hik badakik zergatik ta ez ba dakik galdeiok hire buruari nondik dabilen," roughly translate to "I don't know why, but I ask myself where does it come from?" This line sets the tone for the rest of the song, questioning why these hateful beliefs are still prevalent in society and where they stem from.
The rest of the song discusses the history of fascism and racism and how it continues to rear its ugly head in modern times. The lyrics mention that these ideologies were present 20 years ago and are still present today. The song also mentions how fascism and racism are spreading in Europe, and how everyone must bear the burden of confronting them. The final lines of the song are a call to action, urging people to reject fascism and racism and to fight against them.
Overall, Akatu is a powerful political song that highlights the dangers of fascism and racism and encourages people to take action against them.
