You can really hear the love thats gone into Hawkmoth. The EQing is ridiculously pristine. It sounds so clean , but not in a clinical way cos it has such a great warmth to it. A lot of producers , myself included , are listening to this and thinking " I really gotta raise my game ". The melodies are exactly what I want to hear , and the craftmanship is exceptional. Huge respect Guys. Really looking forward to the new album !!

@Raptor :))))))) :p

Raptor

So the whole point of your comment is to tell us you are a producer? We got it.

Spot on. Warm and fuzzy capturing the value and agency of being a human

My favourite moments are when the inversions are laid over the original melody in different ways, it's pure magic!

Absolutely agree; it's hard to pinpoint, but this is one of those tracks where you always feel like you just barely don't have the proper speakers/headphones to get the proper frequencies.

Listening to this music makes me miss my mom and dad, in a good way. My dad died in 2007, he was 86. My mom died in 2013, she was 91. Sometimes I think I can feel their love, even though they're in heaven. I wonder if this genre of music can function as a sort of connection between the realms of here and there.

Jim Yost

@James Parker ~ Evidently you have no concept of the spirit realm. All I can think of to tell you is that you're in for a big surprise one day, whether you want to have it or not.

James Parker

@Jim Yost I think such belief is a coping mechanism for the ridiculousness of all of our human over-expectation versus the crushing reality of mortality!

L Santos

Just remember to keep the joy in life!
