1) Plan B (real … Read Full Bio ↴There are several artists and bands with this name:
1) Plan B (real name Ben Drew, b. 1983) is a rapper from Forest Gate, London. From the age of 11 he attended Anglo European School in Ingatestone Essex, before transfering to Tom Hood, an inner-city comprehensive. He has described his character, in these school days, as "a bit of a cunt". He is signed to 679 Recordings, home to UK rap act The Streets. His unique sound is characterised by his use of acoustic beats and lyrics involving drugs, rape, murder and underage sex. He was placed fourth in the BBC's "Sound of 2006" competition.
His second album was released in April 2010; The Defamation of Strickland Banks was released on 12 April 2010. The album is a departure from the sound heard on Plan B's debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words, with the rapper's sophomore effort showcasing much more of his singing ability. Lyrically the album's songs tell the fictitious tale of one Strickland Banks, a sharp-suited British soul singer who finds fame with bitter-sweet love songs like the album's opener "Love Goes Down", but then loses everything when he ends up in prison for a crime he didn't commit.
The album was a great success, reaching #1 in the UK album charts, and three singles from the album reached the top 20 of the UK singles charts, with 'Stay Too Long' reaching #9 and 'She Said' reaching #3.
The Ill Manors Songfacts reports that on March 23, 2012 Plan B released “Ill Manors,” the title track of the soundtrack to the British film of the same title, which he wrote and directed.

2) Plan B (real name James van Leuven) is a producer/musician from Seattle, WA. On Like a Ship Sailing, Plan B's James van Leuven steps beyond his drumming for Automaton and allows percussion to be the focus. Laying a foundation of trip-hop beats, van Leuven (who handles nearly all of the instrumentation) implements sampling and crawly guitars and bass. The record possesses the darker atmospheres of trip-hop but without the accompanying vocals. There's also a spy film aura that permeates much of the album. Sometimes it gets a little too dark with the disturbing line, "Howard just said he was going to blow his brains out next Tuesday." It's balanced by a child asking, "Have you ever been in love?," in "Love," which flirts with breakbeats. "Come out Strong" has a finger-snapping cool jazz vibe with trumpet from Bill Jones. This project might be "plan B" for van Leuven, but his great job with live percussion makes it grade-A post-rock.
After the release of 2 LPs in 2002 and 2006 + 1 EP in 2003, Plan B Seattle was over-shadowed by the pop success of the british Plan B Ben Drew in 2006. Since then Plan B Seattle has stopped releasing music under this moniker.

(1991) which was produced by Pat Collier. In Germany the predecessor "The Greenhouse Effect" (1989) was much more popular ("Beam me up Scotty, this planet sucks!").

No Good
Plan B Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'll stab you in the eye, yo,
With a fucking biro
The same fucking biro you just used to sign your giro,
You fucking wino
Don't fucking cross my line, yo,
I'll hit you so hard your arse will hit the floor in Cairo.
I know
So watch your fucking step and where you place your fucking eyes bro.
I fight loads,
Heavy though I look like a light load, I bite bro.
I wont sink my teeth into you twice but thrice, bro
It ain't nice, bro like when you got lice bro.
I'm ice cold, like a mother fucking ice pole.
Don't make me tell you twice bro.
Live-o, I'm live-o,
Sideshow, I'm phsyco
Bad, but not in the same way as Michael
I'm archetypal
Shameless like that guy from Grand Disciple's.
Hi all.
My names Ben like Nigel.
I'm sick enough to start
Shit and hit hard like I spit bars
pick up a dart and stab you in your eyeball.
When I ride mics I ride them on my lonesome,
The best thing since sliced bread my lyrics them are wholesome.
I don't need no-one else when I rap
Taking up room on my track, if they ain't good to me.
[Chorus]
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
(That's no good to me.)
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me.
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
(That's no good to me.)
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me.
[Verse 2]
I'll never stop rhyming, like
I aint the silent type.
I'm the violent type
With a vicious bite like Iron Mike's.
Fuck the Isle of Wight - could never live the quiet life,
I'm too used to drunken nights
that end in fights and ultraviolet lights.
So pass me a glass of ice and fill it up with liquor,
Make sure you make it a double so I get drunk quicker.
Only drink spirits, don't give a fuck about my liver;
The only reason I don't drink pints
is 'cause I'm trying to watch my figure.
I'm an angry little man with a
Plan who just don't give a damn, pissed at God
'cause he won't make my dick bigger.
Am I real or am I just a thick wigger?
Fuck what you think, I'll still smoke you like a cigger'.
Watch cats cotch back, cock back, pull the trigger,
Trigger,
Pow!
I'm too sick to give a
Shit about mans who want to see me down and out man.
I'm stirring up bare shit without a doubt man.
I'm representing rap like it's supposed to be:
Spit bars so harsh you can't cope with me.
That's how its supposed to be.
You can't cope with B.
[Chorus]
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
(That's no good to me.)
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me.
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
(That's no good to me.)
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me.
(That's no good to me.)
[Verse 3]
I'm real sick of hearing these pricks talk shit,
just 'cause they roll with a clique,
think they won't get their throats slit.
I make blood drip,
Every lyric I spit
Leaving MCs deader than the skin on my dick.
(Oh shit!)
That's why I laugh when they start talking out their arse
bout how this phase will pass: quote 'Plan B will never last.'
That's why I chuckle when they get signed then they
buckle, 'cause they cant take the pressure never the less I still laugh.
Believe I ain't no quitter, nor would I be bitter
if my label dropped me I'd just go on sicker, change my name to Kunt
With a capital K, like kids today
I'll just spray abuse in your fucking face
like a fat kid who's had no lunch.
Throw a punch, make your nose crunch
and your lip bust so blood shines off your lips boss,
like you were wearing lip glos. I shit not.
I'm a one man clan, one man band,
just gi'mme one mic and one mic stand,
one guitar for me to strum with my right hand.
The same right hand that'll pick up a
knife and start to slice mans,
Make them die a painful death such as a slow one,
'cause I don't need no-one
(That's no good to me.)
And that's the way of it,
Although I'm only spraying shit just for the sake of saying it
So you know I don't play and shit.
I'm thinking dark thoughts everyday and shit.
Now what's my fucking name?
Da da da ding da da da ding ding ding
My name's Plan B and I rap 'n' sing sing sing.
Da da da ding da da da ding ding ding
My name's Plan B and I rap 'n' sing sing sing.
Da da da ding da da da ding ding ding
My name's Plan B and I rap 'n' sing sing sing.
Da da da ding da da da ding ding ding
My name's Plan B.
[Chorus]
Yeah, no good.
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
(That's no good to me.)
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me.
(That's no good to me.)
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
(That's no good to me.)
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me.
(That's no good to me.)
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me.
That's no good to me,
I don't no need nobody.
Don't need no-one
That's no good to me
The song "No Good" by Plan B is a raw and aggressive track that features the artist boasting of his lyrical prowess and making threats to anyone who crosses him. In the first verse, he describes himself as a dangerous person who is capable of stabbing someone in the eye with a biro or hitting them so hard that they fall to the floor. He is proud of his violent tendencies, proclaiming that he is "ice cold" and can take someone's life with ease. Throughout the song, he emphasizes his independence and self-sufficiency, declaring that he doesn't need anybody and can handle any situation on his own.
In the second verse, he continues to describe himself as a violent and angry person who is dissatisfied with his physical appearance. He admits to drinking heavily and not caring about the state of his liver, and he is disrespectful towards his critics, who he feels are inferior to him. He also makes a reference to the idea that he may be appropriating black culture, but he dismisses this criticism with a vulgarity. The final verse is a continuation of the same themes, with Plan B calling out other MCs who he feels are not authentic or talented enough to be in the game. He uses violent imagery throughout the song to assert his dominance and prove that he is a force to be reckoned with.
Overall, "No Good" showcases Plan B's aggressive and confident persona, with lyrics full of violence and bravado. The song was released in 2005 and was one of the first tracks that put Plan B on the UK rap scene. It was included on his debut album "Who Needs Actions When You Got Words" which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.

@sci_ent_ificsui_neg9236
He said in an interview that he has finacial security now ... And he feels like a liar rapping about living with nothing in the ghetto ... He's right, kudos for him not grifting off an inner city life he doesn't lead anymore.
