You feel nervous despite trying to calm yourself down

You are by yourself in your spacecraft, high above the earth

As the night starts to fall, and there's no one around, my ears strain for a sound
It's getting dark and you feel isolated, trying to listen for any sounds

As I search through these canyons, so cold and so tall
You are exploring a harsh and unfamiliar landscape, feeling intimidated

The situation is getting worse, and there's nothing you can do to prevent it
