I've finally found my home
A place that I can run into Your arms
Here I stand, lost in Your embrace
My heart is overcome
Cause You've taken me
And turned my world upside down
As I long for You
You take me in Your arms
As I worship You
Wanna thank You for the things
You've done in me
For all You've done
I will lift my voice and shout aloud Your praise
For all You've done
In our hearts our lives will never be the same
For all You've done
I will tell the world of what You've done in me
Our hearts we give to You
With our lives we shout Your praise
For all You've done
The lyrics of "For All You've Done" by Planetshakers speaks of finding a home in God's loving embrace after years of searching. The song starts by saying that everything that the singer has ever dreamt of is in God's presence, and they have finally found their home. They are able to run into God's arms and feel lost in His embrace. They go on, to say that their heart is overcome because God has taken them, and turned their world upside down. They proclaim their longing for Him and thank Him for everything He has done in their lives.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrases "For all You've done, I will lift my voice and shout aloud Your praise," emphasising the singer's gratitude towards God, declaring that their hearts and lives will never be the same. The bridge of the song takes a more evangelical turn, as the singer proclaims their intention to tell their testimony to the world, and to offer their hearts and lives to God.
The song's message is one of thanksgiving, appreciation and surrender to God's love. It encourages listeners to be grateful for all of God's blessings in their lives, and to surrender fully to His grace. With a catchy melody and energetic musical production, "For All You've Done" has become a favourite worship song for many Christians.
