Afroman
Plastilina Mosh Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Suave y suda
Baila con frescura
Eres escultura popular
Internacional
Desde África querida
Hasta América Latina
Solo brincas y respiras
Y también para la gente
De cultura y de rutina
Como si fuera heroína

Saca mi cerebro del frasco
Solo, solo, solo,
Saca mi cerebro del frasco
Solo, solo, solo

Afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza

Afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza

Afro bass, afro beat
Solo sufre tu pecado
Y tu desliz
Ya no grito
Ya no sudo
Ya no brillo
Entre lo oscuro
Y te escupo en la cabeza
Pa' que veas
Que es lo rico de esta pieza
Entre luces y colores
Y siluetas de ilusiones
De infecciones
De emociones
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión

Afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza

Afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza

Somos dos
Y luego tres
Y luego cuatro
Y luego cinco
Pero solos uno mismo
Desde arriba para abajo
Como pez en un atajo
Entre esferas de cristales
Y violines en compases
Solo busco una pista
Que te fluye de tu risa
Y se mezcla entre mi vista

Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión

Afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza

Afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza

Saca mi cerebro del frasco
Solo, solo, solo,
Saca mi cerebro del frasco
Solo, solo, solo

Saca mi cerebro del frasco
Solo, solo, solo,
Saca mi cerebro del frasco
Solo, solo, solo

Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión

Afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza
Porque es afroman
Se te sube a la cabeza

Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión
Si es la
Revolución desde tu televisión

Si es la

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Plastilina Mosh's song Afroman describe the power and allure of dance, particularly afro beat and bass. The first few lines, "Suave y suda, baila con frescura, eres escultura popular, internacional" (smooth and sweaty, dance with freshness, you're a popular sculpture, international), set the scene for a global experience of music and movement. The lyrics then describe how the music and dancing provide an escape from everyday life for both those with cultural routines and those seeking a rush like a drug ("Solo brincas y respiras, y también para la gente de cultura y de rutina, como si fuera heroína" - You just jump and breathe, and also for people of culture and routine, like it's heroin).

The chorus repeats the phrase "Afroman, se te sube a la cabeza" which translates to "Afroman, it goes to your head" or "Afroman, it gets you high." This reaffirms the addictive and uplifting nature of afro beat and bass. The lyrics continue to describe how the music and dancing create a revolution, even if it's just through a television screen ("Si es la revolución desde tu televisión" - If it's the revolution from your television). The song concludes with a repetition of the chorus and the call to "Saca mi cerebro del frasco" (Take my brain out of the jar), suggesting a desire to completely immerse oneself in the experience of afro beat and bass.

Overall, the lyrics to Afroman celebrate the power of music and dance to connect people across cultures and provide an escape from the monotony of everyday life.

Yo estuve en los carnavales en Las Tablas cuando se filmo el video, las otras vistas son de las Bóvedas y la Ave Central en el Casco Viejo de PTY en 1996.

@beyourself1723

En serio? Wow bro, donde es PTY?

@dragonfest1229
