Playboi Carti Lyrics
Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh! Buh!
Pussy man, I smoke that orange, yeah
Fendi down I'm smoking oregan
Effin and I'm smoking oregan
She menaging, need some more breath
I got smoke all in the air
Fuck this soppy, you get lobby
AP on my fucking left
Stack it up right on the shelf
I got drip all in this walk
I got cash, I let it walk
I done did it by myself
Earning check just by myself
I switch down and shoot the gas tank
I switch down and get my fingers wet
My bitch getting good head
Riding round on mopeds
My bitch off the percocets
Pop that bean and countin' debt
Yeah, she suck me, I can't feel my legs
My bih yucky she don't use no hands
Dance where the diamonds dancin'
Dance where the diamonds dancin'
That why you can't buy them bags
In LA I smoke that gas
In LA in live with slatt
Them bitch we keep, she gave it back
I fuck that bitch and gave her back
I nut on her, she make me 'lax
That gun on me I keep that leg
Your bitch right, she got it clapped
Looking dap boy, young boy, you get clapped
I took that lil boy right off the map
We killed that boy right here right in the trap
I am on lean I fucked around and relapsed
I fucked that bih, he running round in laps
You touch down in my city, you better tell
That bitch right here, she know she gotta tell
I've seen that bitch run round in Nudy's cat
That bitch with me and now she on her back
I'm in south side, and I'm waiting on it to crash
I'm in south side, and I got the gat
I'm in south side, and I hang with blood
I'm in south side, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Too much lean, too much ice
One more pint, one more pipe
Too much lean, too much ice
I'ma bite, one more bite
One more pint, one more pint
One more pint, one more pint
Too much lean, too much ice
One more pint, one more pint

He originally started rapping as Sir Cartier, releasing a mixtape titled THC: THE HIGH CHRONICAL$ on November 5, 2011, that has since been deleted from the Internet. He followed up with the mixtape Young Misfit on November 12, 2012. He changed his artist name to Playboi Carti in May 2013. As Playboi Carti, he came into prominence in 2015 with his song Broke Boi. Initially a part of the Atlanta-based Awful Records label, he also performed at the fashion events such as Yeezy Season 5, VFiles, and Raf Simons events, with artists such as Lil Uzi Vert and A$AP Rocky. In 2016, he was featured on A$AP Mob's debut studio album, Cozy Tapes: Vol. 1 Friends -, on the tracks London Town and Telephone Calls, which the latter was released as the second single from the album.
Carti's eponymous debut mixtape, Playboi Carti, which features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Rocky, and Leven Kali, was released on April 14, 2017. The self-titled release gained attention from various music publications, including XXL, Pitchfork, Spin, HotNewHipHop, and PopMatters. XXL noted the track Magnolia as a standout cut, whereas Pitchfork critic Briana Younger thought that the release "finds a cloudy and economical mood and stays there, but it's Carti's magnetic confidence that turns just enough into plenty." The mixtape sold 28,051 units in its opening week.
In accompaniment with the mixtape's release, Carti embarked on a tour, which featured him as an opening act for Gucci Mane and Dreezy.
At the end of 2017, Carti was featured on A$AP Mob's Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, A$AP Ferg's Still Striving, and NAV's Perfect Timing. Carti was meanwhile working on his debut album, Die Lit, which would be released on May 11, 2018.
Die Lit was an album that received mixed reviews, but fans of Carti enjoyed the album. Metacritic rated the album 71/100 with a user score of 8.2/10. Die Lit includes notable tracks such as Shoota, Foreign, Choppa Won't Miss, Mileage, and Poke it Out. This album included features from artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, Nicki Minaj, Chief Keef, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Skepta, and Bryson Tiller.
Since the release of Die Lit, Playboi Carti has embarked on his own tour, while featuring on songs such as Uh Uh (feat. Playboi Carti) on Chief Keef's Mansion Musick and Get Dripped on Lil Yachty's Nuthin' 2 Prove.
However, soon after the release of Die Lit and his tour, Carti was seen discussing a new album. Over the course of the next few years, Whole Lotta Red would get leaked, or played by Carti himself at select shows. On November 23, 2020, Carti announced that the album had been submitted to his label, along with posting several blurry photos. He would later announce several collaborations, with artists such as Kanye West and Future. DJ Akademiks would later tweet that the album would release on Christmas day, and was executively produced by Kanye West.
Whole Lotta Red's fan reception was polarizing at the start, but the album was met with positive critical reception. Metacritic rated the album 75/100 with a user score of 7.4/10. The album would later increase in popularity among Carti fans and music enjoyers alike over time — highly due to several tracks going viral on TikTok — and began receiving high praise.

F&N, I smoke on organic
She bent down, she need some more breath
I got smoke all in the air
Fuck this up and you get left (What?)
AP on my fuckin' left (Yeah, hold up)
Stack it up right on the shelf
Yo bitch look familiar
I got drip, I let it walk
I got cash, I let it walk
I'ma do this by myself
On the jet by—by myself
I touch down and shoot the gas tank
I touch down and get my fingers wet (Yeah)
My bitch got that G.O.A.T. head
Riding 'round on moped
My bitch off the Percocet
Pop that bean and count them deads
Yeah she suck me I can't feel my legs
My bih yucky, she don't use no hands
Dancefloor wit the diamonds dancing
Dancefloor wit the diamonds dancing
That's why you can't buy them bags
In LA I smoke that gas
In LA I link with slatt
That bitch with you, she gave you back
I fuck that bitch and gave her back
I nut on her, she make me 'lax
That gun on me I cannot lack
Your bitch right, she got it clapped
Looking dap boy, young boy you get clapped
I took that lil boy right off of the map
We killed that boy right here, right in the trap
I love my lean, I fucked around relapsed
I fucked that bih, she running round in laps
You touchdown in my city, you better tap
That bitch right here, she know she gotta tap
I seen that bitch runnin' round in Nudy cat
That bitch with me and now she on that pack
I'm in south side, and I'm weighin' the crack
I'm in south side, yeah, and I got the gat
I'm in south side, and I hang with blatt
I'm in south side, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah

Notice how at the end he says
“Too much lean, too much ice
One more pint! One more pint!”
With each repeat it get more and more mumbled .
That represents how he’s getting waisted from the lean.
Carti is so much deeper and artistic that people give him credit…

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Playboi Carti. His lyrics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the punchlines will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Carti's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these songs, to realise that they're not just lit- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Playboi Carti truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the message in Carti's existential catchphrase "-
_.++🦋" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Carti's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Die Lit tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes onlyand even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personal kid 😂 ++--_.🦋glo
