Plus One Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'll trust you now
I'll trust your plan for my tomorrow
I'll take the vow
I'll take your hand and
I will follow
You're the center of it all
And my life just revolves
You're the center of it all
I'll stay right beside your altar
And I'll leave to carry on with praise
I'll make this life a never ending
Circle of worship to you
You healed my heart
Scattered apart in tiny pieces
So I'll do my part
A love that starts and never ceases
[Chorus]
You're the center of it all
And my life just revolves around you
I'll stay right beside your altar
I'll leave to carry on with praise
I'll make this life a never ending
Circle of worship to you [1x]
The song "Circle" by Plus One is a touching and powerful expression of faith and devotion. The lyrics express a deep trust in God's plan for the future and a commitment to follow His lead. The singer pledges to stay by God's side and to make their life a never-ending circle of worship to Him.
The opening lines, "I'll trust you now, I'll trust your plan for my tomorrow," indicate the singer's willingness to rely on God's guidance and surrender control over their own life. The use of the word "vow" in the next line emphasizes the commitment they are making to follow God's lead, no matter what may come. The chorus reinforces this idea, with the repetition of the line "You're the center of it all" underscoring God's central role in the singer's life.
The second verse refers to a past experience where God healed the singer's heart, which had been "scattered apart in tiny pieces." This testimony further emphasizes the singer's trust in God and their desire to repay His love with a lifetime of worship and devotion.
Overall, the song is a beautiful expression of faith, trust, and commitment to God. It speaks to the universal human desire for guidance and purpose, and the profound comfort and security that comes from surrendering oneself to a higher power.
