Plus One Lyrics

Do I have to wear
A Shirt and tie?
We can take a limousine
But everybody there will
Ask us why!
Ain't nothin' wrong
We can have
As longs as we never forget
How to stop and pray!
If you've been set
On partying 'til your head is numb
Betta not forget
That the party is when the
Kingdom comes!
Come on and dance
All your troubles away
And look through the
Windows of heaven
It's not too late
[Chorus]
My life
Yeah
It's your life
Yeah
Don't want to get it wrong
It's time to get it right
My life
Yeah
It's your life
Yeah
Need to make a change
Time for saving
My life
I was a mess
But that was all before
I told him yes!
Now it's all good
'Cause everyone in his will
Is blessed
Just let him take
All your troubles away
Look through the
Windows of heaven
It's not too late
[Chorus]
Don't want to wait too long
It might be too late
[Chorus]
The song "My Life" by Plus One addresses the struggle between living a worldly life and living a life devoted to God. The lyrics describe a scenario where the singer is invited to a party and asked to wear formal attire, but is concerned about being judged by others at the party. The lyrics then transition to a message about finding joy in God's kingdom and the importance of stopping to pray. The chorus emphasizes the need to make a change and get things right in life, with the possibility of it being too late if one waits too long.
Throughout the song, the lyrics use a dichotomy between the temporal pleasures of the world and the eternal happiness found in God's kingdom. The verses describe the temptation of the world and the struggle to maintain faith, while the chorus offers hope and encourages listeners to choose the path of salvation before it's too late. The lyrics ultimately ask listeners to reassess their priorities and find their place in God's plan.
Overall, "My Life" offers a relatable message about searching for meaning and struggling with faith in a world full of distractions. The song encourages listeners to seek a deeper understanding of their faith and prioritize their relationship with God in order to find true happiness and fulfillment in life.
