1) Pneuma (1997 - Present) is polish christian hardcore metal band from Tricity (Gdansk-Sopot-Gdynia), Poland formed in 1997.
The Pneuma team was formed in 1997 in the Tri-City. His achievements are over
400 concerts played and 4 records:
- The wind blows where it wants (1998)
- Berakha (2001)
- Kokon (2003)
- One (2007)
Four years after the well-received album "One", the Pneuma band returned with their latest child entitled "Apathy", released by Mystic Production.
"Apathy" is a marathon without a moment of respite, where the insane weight and pace goes hand in hand with the melodious guitar parts and intelligent arrangements.
Cavalcades of riffs, crazy guitar solos, great vocals, original texts and surprising guests (Czesław Śpiewa, Seth, Adam Tkaczyk and others). Recorded for two years in the sweat of the forehead, mixed by Szymon Czech (including Vesania, Rootwater, Riverside) and produced by Kuba Mańkowski (including Blindead, Obscure Sphinx, Mjut). "Apathy" is all the best from the rock tradition and what is the most powerful of modern metal, thrown into one sack, shaken to the limit and poured with fresh, Tri-city sauce.
The album collects very good reviews (Teraz Rock 9/10, Mystic Art 8/10, Metal Hammer 4/5, Rockmetal.pl 9/10).
In September 2011, Pneuma, accompanied by Psychollywood, Brokken Betty and Empire, played an 11-day tour under the slogan "3City Attacks Tour".
Currently, the band is still promoting the new album. On this occasion, a new issue of "U & Ur Hand" hit the radio station which is the cover of Pink.
At the beginning of 2012, the album "Apatia" was nominated for Fryderyk in the "Album of the Year Metal" category.

Livin' on a Prayer
Pneuma Lyrics

Union's been on strike
He's down on his luck...it's tough, so tough
Gina works the diner all day
Working for her man, she brings home her pay
For love - mmm...for love
She says: We've got to hold on to what we've got
If we'll make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot
For love - we'll give it a shot
Ooh, we're half way there
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Tommy's got his six string in hock
Now he's holding in what he used
To make it talk - so tough, it's tough
Gina dreams of running away
When she cries in the night
Tommy whispers: Baby it's okay, someday
We've got to hold on to what we've got
'It doesn't make a difference
If we'll make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot
For love - we'll give it a shot
Ooh, we're half way there
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Livin' on a prayer
Ooh, we've got to hold on ready or not
You live for the fight when it's all that you've got
Ooh, we're half way there
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Ooh, we're half way there
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Ooh, we're half way there
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Whoah, livin' on a prayer
“Livin’ on a Prayer” by Pneuma is a song that captures the early life struggle of two young lovers, Tommy and Gina. Tommy used to work on the docks, but due to the ongoing strike, he finds himself facing tough times. Gina, on the other hand, works at a diner all day to earn a living for her man. The two characters find hope by holding on to their love for each other, although their struggles are difficult. Tommy has to put his guitar in hock, and Gina dreams of running away. However, Tommy comforts her through their tough times and tells her that everything will be okay someday.
The chorus of the song goes on to emphasize the message of holding on to what they have got, which is each other's love. The lyrics mention that it won't make any difference whether they make it or not, but they will give their all for love. The chorus also provides a visualization of hope, as they imply that they are halfway there and will make it if they hold on to each other's hands. The song can be considered an anthem of survival and encouragement that has become popular worldwide.
