Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Pogo's song "Expialidocious" might feel a bit disorienting at first glance, but they are actually telling a story of defiance against negativity and a search for deeper satisfaction. The song starts with a conversation between two people, presumably George and Pogo himself, where Pogo asks George to listen to what he has to say. This is where the first verse comes in, with the repetition of "Never give, and then I'll never be dissing songs/ Us, sing this". This can be interpreted as a vow to never put down music and instead join in the act of creation and celebration.

The chorus of the song is dominated by the phrase "Six-oh-two/ See the light, it's the light", repeated multiple times. This phrase might be a reference to the time of day, 6:02, when the light of the day might be at its most beautiful. There is also a sense of urgency and excitement in the repeated phrase, as if the singer is urging the listener to follow them to see what they see.

All these people trying to make sense of the lyrics, you don't need to, he's using the words as notes, not as words. Notice how he's not using things like autogiro tune to make the characters sing.

I care too much about this

@TheFiercestCreatureInTheWorld

But it's fun to find lyrics, even if there aren't meant to be any.

@michaelmccarty1327

Exactly. I mean, jungle dash wouldn't be nearly as fun without imagining Mowgli trying to sell his laptop.
