This theme was an amazing idea! It made a song based on the annoying "Low HP sound" that everyone hated and turned it into something awesome. I don't get why they removed it, I wish they'd add it back to Ultra Sun/Moon.

Sadly it didn't. This music is a good idea, but many often complain that this gets in the way of more epic boss themes later. Such as the gym leader's last pokemon, the legendary battles, N's battle theme and Ghetsis's to name a few. Although the low hp changed to only beep about 4 times now and most likely have gotten people accustomed to it, I think it would've been better if they alternated this theme with the more epic ones just so that it doesn't feel like it's just getting in the way in my opinion

@BasementSkeleton97 Maybe a good solution would be to make every battle theme have a low health variant. I also wish they'd bring back the idea of having a "gym leader's last pokemon" theme... maybe in gen 8?

I think that, so as to not interrupt the other themes constantly, it should be moved to the last Pokémon in your party.

At least in the 2 newer gens, it only beeps 4x then it shuts up.

Maybe if they played a Low HP theme when your last final Pokémon has low health... It would be worth it.

I love and hate this song.
I love it because it makes those annoying beeps into music. That’s pretty ingenious.
I hate it because it’ll unexpectedly come up in a really good battle theme. And it pressures you a little bit.

If they had a way of cleanly transitioning the current battle theme into a "critical" version of that theme that incorporates notes of this song into the main song, that wouldve been absolutely amazing. I imagine that wouldve taken a lot more work though, lmao
