Thank you. I still own that save file to this day, because it was my first ever Pokemon game. It was a long time ago, and I don't know whether you remember it. But Pokémon White was a beautiful game. I still remember the team, and I don't plan on forgetting it. I played the game excessively. I never once considered deleting that save file, because it not only meant something to you, but it also meant a lot to me. Damn, I regret it now. Spent almost 600 hours on Black, and the only reason I deleted my save was because I was too hyped for Sun and Moon. Thankfully, I moved all the pokemon I could to pokemon bank, but I'll still never get back my Victini or Emboar.

I can't stop thinking of this game even if it's 10 years later. The plot, the music, the art, it was just magical. The most saddest pokemon game scene I've fucking seen since childhood days of classical Pokemon games. For the first time I actually wanted my rival(antagonist turn into protagonist), N, to stay and bother me to battle as I continued to play the game. Unlike the majority of the battles I fought in Pokemon White, N was truly the most fantastic and memorable battler that I surprisingly had so much difficulty and fun with since the time I fought Pokemon Master Red in my younger days. And for the first time in forever, I actually felt like crying when he was leaving because I wanted this dude to battle me again as I continued playing the game.
P.S.: This background music was truly phenomenal and fitted the entire goodbye scene. And having to see N as a animated like aesthetic made it feel as if I was sincerely in the Pokemon World myself talking to this dude.

I agree with you. N Harmonia is personally my favourite Pokemon character of all time. N's someone who thought that he was pursuing the truth - believing that he was fighting for the rights of Pokémon - when in actuality, he was being fed false information by Team Plasma that trainers were abusing Pokémon. In actuality, Team Plasma was only selected abused Pokémon to brainwash N into thinking all trainers are like that. Through the player, he realizes the real truth - that while some trainers are abusive, there are trainers who genuinely care. He's a tragic hero, and that's what's so fascinating about his character. I learnt a valuable lesson through him - that the world isn't so black and white. It's morally grey.

Not to mention, N's battles (especially the Final one and the seasonal ones) were quite the challenge. It wasn't a huge difficulty spike, but it was enough of a challenge to keep you on your feet.

I love N because he was the biggest motivator and inspiration behind "my" success and journey in defeating Team Plasma and Ghetsis. I refused to believe when he was saying goodbye and I exited the game and stopped playing for a few days after that. I took so many pictures of N my phone was flooded with them for a while. I couldn't believe that N was leaving because he was someone who was always there on "my" journey and he was the drive I needed to train my Pokemon harder to defeat him. He was the obstacle in my way until he became the current behind me, pushing me forward until I could face the monster who shaped his childhood, defeat him and punish him for his abuse and neglect of N... I will never forget N Harmonia, he was a single shining candle whose light was slowly extinguished by the murderer that is Ghetsis.

I love how N's speech changes slightly depending on your answer at Chargestone Cave and whichever version of the game you are playing.
B/W might've lacked in some aspects but when it came down to it, B/W had so much heart behind it's story. N is the best character by far in any pokemon game, and this might be one of the best soundtracks.

The year is 4021. Society has broken down, with only few survivors remaining. Almost all energy sources have ran out, and humanity is reaching a grim end. ShadowLynx laid in his coffin, as they did for the past decades. Waiting for a hero to deliver a pair of two AA batteries into their jukebox, so they can finally be released from this wasteland. Suddenly, a man appears from the horizon. As he passes by, he notices the coffin and the old jukebox next to it. In his backpack, he takes out two of the last usable batteries left. They're inserted into the rusty jukebox, and he hits the play button. The song finally starts playing after decades of decay, and ShadowLynx's request is finally complete. With a final breath, they leave this land behind. The man continues on his journey, letting the music play on for the last time as the batteries run out.

This sounds so similiar to Mother 3's Love Theme. Both games are amazing, and tragic - a series loved by many worldwide, best known for it's fun gameplay and the comedic moments. Then, they come out with BW and Mother 3 - while they are true to both their series, both have tragic moments.

So, I was planning on hearing this song on my way down the stage at graduation, but since my school is getting closed down due to budget cuts and loss of money, its getting closed down. So it seems that the class I'm in, is going to be split up. So we the school gets closed down, and destroyed, I'm going to walk down the halls with all of my friends, with this in my head. I'd give anything to experience this game for the first time again

I vividly remember my cousin giving my his DS after the 3DS Released, along with a copy of Pokémon Black. Black&White is one of the few games that has ever actually brought me to tears. Such a beautiful experience ♡

N was always my favorite Character. Not just because of his overall story. But because I saw myself in him, and during a time where I experienced isolation from classmates due to my Autism and inability to socialize, I found comfort in him as a character.

I sadly lost the DS and Copy of Pokémon Black after my parents and I moved across the state. But I'm still greatful I could experience this masterpiece. Will forever be my favorite Generation of Pokémon.

Each Pokemon game gets better and better as years go by but nothing can beat Black and White. When I played this game it the story line really touched my heart. I wish it didn't have to stop, but all good journeys must come to end somewhere. Farewell N you will never be forgotten and Ghetsis I hope God changes your heart.

Of all the moments in video games that made me cry, even with moments like Claus's final breath, the ending of Ori and The Will of The Wisps, and Zero's sacrifice, this one will always stand above the rest.
It's a shame we're a long way from seeing a character like N again in a Pokemon game
It doesn't matter the quality of the newer games, or how I feel about certain decisions made by gamefreak
Because I'll always have these memories.

5th gen dosent deserve the hate it gets. It had a beautiful story and soundtrack. Even the Pokemon were amazing. I remember that day back in 2011, Samuott, Throh, Leavanny, Archeops, Unfezant, and Haxorous. BW were more than just games to me, they taught me about truths and ideals, how both need to be a balance of the other. BW did so much for me and you coudnt believe the amount of time I put into BW2. The world felt so alive ya know? Pokewood, that thing everyone didn't like, was something I spent hours completing. Meeting with the star (I can't remember their name atm) and feeling like you had a romance with them. It was the small things in those games that made all the difference in the end.

There is one thing forgotten in the game, N has never been a bad caracter. He was truly a good guy. They only put him on the bad side because there was one guy missing and they had no more idea for a new guy. I just got this game a few days ago. I kinda grew out of Pokemon for a while, but I received this as a birthday present and loved it. I've already beaten it, and I have to say this quickly became my favorite Pokemon game. They did so great with this, the music, story, and everything else was excellent too. There was so many cool twist to the formula of Pokemon. Thanks to this game, I'm permanently a Pokemon fan once again. I sure hope the next game is like this, or that grey takes this further.

Black and White did an amazing job showing the mlutiple sides of characters and portraying the depth of the emotions in an adventure. I cried for N when I found out he had been tricked by his own father into forming morals to gain the assistance of the legendary dragon pokemon. N must have felt so torn and betrayed inside...but he realized it wasn't all for nothing and how blessed he was. I will always remember N for all the emotional turmoil he's gone through, and I hope others will too.

This was the only moment where I truly cried in a pokemon game. The song, combined with the events, was just pure genius. GEN V FOREVER, POKEMON FOREVER!

Very true. I completely loved the moment at the end when all of them show up to help save the day, and that bit at Dragonspiral tower with Brycen taking on 4 Plasma goons by himself really do make them feel like they're a head above every other trainer out there. Pokémon does have a history of Champions doing stuff (Lance and Steven jump to mind in particular), but Alder felt a lot more involved with the plot than any other Champion before him.

N is my favorite character in the Pokemon franchise. He is potrayed as an amazingly gifted young man who really loves and cares for Pokemon, but also shows that he has much to learn from them. Ghetsis tried to use that for his own means, but thanks to the player (you) he learns the truth about the relationships between Pokemon and humans and sets out to try and build a world where they both make each other better. At least that's what I think. Black and White's story is AMAZING to me.

I miss those copies of Pokémon I had. I have nothing but old memories to hold on to. I just keep wishing I still had them in my hand so I could gaze upon them knowing their safe. I wish I didn’t have to say goodbye to my past. It’s only thing that keeps me fighting.

N is such a good sport about the fact that he lost, and his ideals weren't strong enough against you. It is something beautiful to see the main antagonist become a hero in his own right. *Single tear rolls down cheek* All the Pokemon games were wonderful, but THIS... I literally started crying when N left. He wasn't a bad guy, he was just misled, taught to believe lies all his life, and he just had his views and beliefs crushed right in front of him. Sure, he got new, pure ones, but... The emotional turmoil he must have been going through at the end of Black/White must have been terrible.

Guys! N is coming to Pokémon Masters (a mobile game) on the 23rd/24th, and he's going to reunite with Hilda and Hilbert, too! He has zekrom, and an awesome battle theme remix. He's going to be a limited banner scout so y'all should really start playing it and get gems to get him, he's finally returning!

This was an amazing ending to the game The music and N's words were both so touching This song makes me remember all the good times I had on the game Falling in love with some of the characters and pokemon... Laughing...crying...raging And it didn't help that after you change N's ways You dont know were he went... Makes me even cry ;_;

I think out of all the antagonists in pokemon, N and Team Plasma from BW take my #1 spot. They've always felt different from everyone else to me for some reason. I guess in the original BW when they were talking about Liberating people from Pokemon, and us not liking there Ideals, and the feeling of utter betrayal when N tells you he's Team Plasma's king on the ferriswheel, it totally made me feel more attached to the game then ever before. Love you N <3

I didn’t remember much from my first play through…and honestly, I probably should have said a final farewell to the team I played with back then…but…I was so excited to start a new journey…I ended up using a couple Pokémon I never thought I’d use…one being a Scrafty. That motherfucker pretty much carried me through the Elite 4…so…to the team I travelled with before I deleted them…I’m sorry I never came back to say goodbye…I don’t remember any of you, but…I’m sure we all had fun on our final journey…

Gen 5 is almost over.. And no matter what people say, this generation is my all time favorite. Not only does it have the most awesome Pokémon i've ever seen up untill now (I mean, come on.. Krookodile and Haxorus are badass and Sewaddle is cute!) It also has the most complex story and the most fitting soundtrack of all.. Not to mention Cheren, Bianca, N and Ghetsis. Pokémon never felt so amazing up untill now. Gen V ftw <3

My only qualms with Gen. V were a few of the Pokemon, but overall I've come to really like the game... It's just become another memory for me, much like my first time playing Red and Blue; this game is new and it still made me feel nostalgic, probably because it didn't make me feel old memories rush back, but because it created new memories for me to not forget... And honestly, I don't think I ever will... :)

i was so sad when i finished the game last night. it was my first time finishing the game. i never wanted my journey to come to an end. and then this came on. it reminded me of the love theme from mother 3. i felt like crying.

Im personally a Gen 3 guy, but Gen V is my second favorite. Black and White had such a touching storyline and soundtrack. I'm not kidding, I literally cried at the end of Black and White, with this music and N's speech. Throughout the game, N is seen as a messed up person. But at the end, he is revealed to have a heart, and realizes that his descisions were incorrect. He leaves you, to fulfill your dreams. I may not have liked some of the new pokemon, but the storyline really touched my heart.
